The room had a window to an alleyway. Both Friday and Saturday nights there were vomiting loud drunks out our windows at late morning hours. The hotel is near a bunch of late night bars that cater to a young disrespectful crowd. This hotel is not for families. In addition, the charged a high stay tax. Which added a third if the counted price. Do not stay here if you are visiting with a family.

Hotel was nice. People friendly. Bed was not comfortable. Some bloodstains on my friend’s sheet. Bathroom was nice. Non skid worn off on shower floor. My bill receipt was under my door in the morning. I didn’t look till later. Over $600 for a 2 Queen plain room. I know I didn’t sign up for that. Very disappointed.

This should not be advertised as a 4 star property. This is 2 stars at best. Upon check in and getting into the room, you can see the minute you get off the elevator on the floors that the hotel is dirty and unkept. The room was so dirty and gross. Hair all over the shower, sheets, bed. The beds are advertised as being big enough for two adults. It’s barely big enough for one person. We also booked a room for 4 people and there was one pillow on each bed. We went downstairs to complain and they said they would change the room for us but the new room had a “smell” to it and asked if that would be okay. ….what? Why would you even say that? During all this, there were multiple people coming to the front desk to complain about the uncleanliness and poor conditions. One man even said he got moved to a new room and found pills on the floor of his new room and he was with his children. It was completely unacceptable. As 4 women traveling, we didn’t feel comfortable with the conditions so we had to book a stay at another hotel. We booked through expedia so, the rep at expedia had to call the hotel directly and ask for a refund, which the manager Nicholas, was extremely unprofessional and denied a refund because “they offered us a new room” but failed to mention the comment about it having a smell to it. Awful all around and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all. Stay away. Should NOT be advertised as 4 stars.

We were on a combination family and business trip. The Bostonian was convenient for both. I didnt know it existed but its location next to Faneuil Hall was great. The staff was great as well. The only complaint was that the balcony window would not close. Not safety problem as we were on the 6th floor. When I told the hotel staff about it they were totally unconcerned. We had plans to dine in the area but a lightening storm came though and we decided to eat at the Hotel restaurant which was warm and dry. It was a largely Greek menu, which was just OK. Service was excellent but the food so-so.

Great location and cute hotel. However, no mini fridge( big bummer when you are traveling with a kiddo), the bathroom was just awkward… toilet super low to the floor and tub was extremely slick. The beds were VERY noisy.

Requested and called to verify request of either Faneuil view balcony or if not just a top floor . Received 2nd floor ( of 7 floors ) with a view of a wall my view is attached with pictures. When I called to verify request they were very nice and helpful just never did any of it.Put in room also next to toddler love kids just not screaming in next room. For over $500 feel like we wasted our good night out on wrong hotel . With so many 4+ star hotels in that area I wished we chose different. Very disappointed 😞
