Clean, quiet and very conveniently located. Very courteous and professional staff. Special thanks to Raven who made our check-in experience very smooth, efficient and positive. Made us feel welcome and special. Also, Tim the bartender is EXCELLENT! Superior customer service, friendly personality, prompt- I would bring my family and friends back to stay at this property because of people like Tim and Raven.

I’d say it’s more for single people. Not very family friendly. Very busy. We were told to pay $15 extra and we’d receive credit for drinks at the bar but we do t even drink, food service and cookies. They ran out of cookies so that was a bust for the kids. The location is good but it’s very noisy and busy. Beds were comfortable. I wouldn’t stay there and I didn’t see there wasn’t a pool.

This hotel is not safe for toddlers or children. Each of the rooms has one window within a childs reach that opens all the way down, allowing a curious child to fall out. There is no safety screen or way to lock this window. When we discovered this, we had to move furniture to block access to the window as much as possible. Our toddler then discovered several rusty screws lying in the carpet along the wall. Dangerous to walk on, but especially if you have a toddler that tries to eat everything. We came here hoping for a restful final night in Chicago but instead had to be super alert and on guard the entire evening, in case our toddler discovered even more screws or god knows what else. This property is in disrepair. If you have kids, go elsewhere. I'm flabbergasted that this is apparently 4 stars. We have stayed at trie 4 and 5 star hotels before, and this one was honestly closer to a motel. Very disappointing.
