My family and I stayed here August '23 and returned August '24 because of the wonderful staff - in particular Lynette. The room was clean and spacious.

Great location in the middle of everything. Great walking distance to so many places from the hotel. Great onsite parking. I felt very safe here while traveling with my 2 small children.

In general, we were wrong with the Hotel, because there was a wait of more than 24 minutes for the elevator to access the reception, we had to go down 28 floors of stairs for 2 days due to the delay, the room service was also not good on days leaving us without towels bathroom, the bathroom was leaking between the floor. Reception takes a long time to answer and when they do they leave you on hold. What was expected when we booked was not delivered. It's a shame because my family and I won't be returning to this hotel again.

Here are some of the positives of the hotel. Great staff especially housekeeping who ensured we had the right amount of necessities. The room size was comfy. The location was ideal for shopping and walking distance to many of the views/attractions. Some of the cons really outweighed the pros. The elevators were a nuisance and you can expect to wait up to 20 minutes. I found myself taking the elevator in the opposite direction so that I can be at my desination.The buffet area exceeded its allotted occupancy.One morning on the way to the buffet, I spotted a roach. At the fitness center, wet children from the pool entered unaccompanied by an adult. The pool was small. I highly doubt I will use this hotel again or recommend it.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I would rather stay at a motel 6. They treat you like you are an inconvenience and will not bring anything to you (towels etc). We waited over 3 hours and asked 3 times for towels. Our room had hair and trash in it when we got here and the “supervisor” acted like we were an inconvenience and gave me the option to deal with it, have a single king bed for 2 adults and 2 children, or go to a different hotel blocks away after we already parked with 2 small children.

The crew elevator didnt work so cleaning stsff used the main elevators and it took 30 mins to get one. We walked down 15 stories with kids to breakfast 2 times. Pool qas closed and not refilled bc someone got sick in it but nobody told us. There was no fan to vent air in bathrooms after showers. There was nobody answering phones for customer service. It was almost $70 a night for valet. Other than the location i really was disappointed in the hotel.

Pros: Rooms are very spacious and were clean. Property had a few different room types that were suitable for families. Excellent location close to Michigan Ave.
Cons- Elevators could be extremely slow, Breakfast was not very good, and service follow through was lacking. Check In took a long time and had to ask on 3 separate occassions for towels to have any towels in the room.

A family vacation with two rooms. One room was large, open, with large windows - appeared to have been renovated. Our room was half the size and looked "old". The refridgerator did not work, room safe did not work, and ice machine on the floor did not work.
The staff was very accommodating - moved us to another room which was much larger, and again appeared to have been renovated. All those accommodations were great.
Once again, all of the staff members we encountered were pleasant, helpful, and friendly.

Specifically booked for the roof top pool for my daughters Golden Birthday , there were many to choose from the night of June 4th and better priced. When we checked in there was a sign that said the pool was under maintenance until Thursday June 6th …. It was the only thing we planned because we were not use to a big city.
It was horrible to see our 4 year old daughter cry on her special day … for a hotel that states every where from their floor mat to sign at the front desk. “What makes you happy makes us happy … and want their customers to be 100 percent happy guaranteed” was a lie and BIG disappointment and horrible memory for our family …. All they did was give us a later check out time witch didn’t matter considering we came on a week night (Tuesday )driving 3 hrs for a non existing roof top pool… and took off work for ONE special night and had to leave early to be in time for work on second shift .
We are NOT happy and their staff members could only compensate for a later, check out time… If i could rate this experience with no stars I WOULD and say this hotel is 100 percent liars when it comes to their guests and happiness!

My family started coming here years ago. Since then it has remained our favorite go-to spot for vacationing in Chicago! We have always enjoyed all the staff as they are super friendly, helpful, and awesome and have never encountered any staff member that leaves us even the least bit unsatisfied! Lynette especially, she has taken care of our family for over 20 years and she still puts forth great effort to ensure all guests feel welcomed. This hotel will continue to be my go-to any time I visit downtown Chicago. The efforts of all staff have made lifelong guests out of us. Thank you all very much!
