The room right next to us was so loud and blasting the music at night. We had to call a couple times. Also when we moved out and used the lobby restroom at the last moment, my child left her AirPods in one of the restrooms. We called after a couple hours and it was never recovered. I would expect better standards at an upscale hotel.

Stayed here during spring break weekend with my kids and unfortunately the hotel had multiple issues which made for an unpleasant stay. All wifi was out in the rooms with no estimate of when it would be restored. Also, the pool was closed all weekend because of a leak. Kept hearing the ice machine outside our room at night. Staff wasn’t very helpful or communicative about when these issues would be addressed. Would not stay here again.

Family stayed here for a quick leisure trip. Host upgraded our room to an executive suite for free and it was perfect for my kids to run free and have their own space. Restaurant on site is convenient and food was pretty good, even for kids. Pool and hot tub were POPULAR for families and we got to enjoy it too. The staff kept the pool stocked with clean, dry towels. Hotel is at a great location if you want to walk and site see. Lots of dining options around. We made the 20 minute walk to Navy Pier but the walk to other locations and shopping was within a 10 minute walk. Valet parking is pricey at $76 but that’s comparable to other hotels I researched. It was better to valet and walk everywhere than to have to worry about finding parking downtown.

Nice, modern hotel in a great Streeterville location that's a short walk to Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park and Navy Pier. The bar area and lobby are very comfortable, and front desk staff was super friendly. The pool isn't large, but it was ideal for the kids.

hotel was good, but we arrived and told we were "downgraded" from two queens to a single king room because they were out of rooms. WHICH is ridiculous because we were traveling with children so there was 4 of us.
eventually after some complaining, they said they would change our room back.
the hotel said they were holding $100 on my card, but still over charged my card. overall

Traveled to Chicago with husband and our 2 kids for vacation. Beautiful, fancy hotel and right downtown close and accessible to shopping, restaurants and more. Felt very safe inside. Room Key card required to access elevators. Our room was very nice. 2 room suite so we had our own rooms.
What you need to know before you stay: The hotel has no parking. Valet only, which is $75 per day. I didn’t see this anywhere when I booked and wish I had known.
Breakfast is NOT included in your stay. $31 for buffet & $5.50 for a regular cup of coffee, there is a very limited menu. Although the food was delicious, a meal was $100 for our family of 4. This adds up over a 5 day stay. (And that’s just For just breakfast) We waited 30 minutes for service in the lounge one evening. The manager did comp our drinks for waiting so long.
I don’t recommend some of the restaurants nearby. (Like Fridays, Dunkin etc.) The homeless (maybe gangs?) hang out out in front & inside smoking/loitering etc. We did not feel safe.
This hotel does have a hot tub. (This was one of the reasons I chose it.) It was absolutely filthy with foam and scum. There were so many people and many small children in it at all times. Our kiddos did enjoy the pool but there were rarely any towels stocked the the pool area in general was not clean.
The beds were uncomfortable. The pillows were absolutely terrible/ hard as a rock. Was expecting to have a microwave in the room. There was a tiny fridge but no microwave.
