The room was nothing spectacular but the ocean view and access to the beach was great. Of course that's why it cost what it did. Nothing else was anything other than ok or less. Dog pee on the elevator and hall carpet that was left, kids running and screaming at 10pm while I'm guessing the parents were at the bar. Basically there was a lot of unchecked, unruly young boys who should have been checked by hotel employees in my option. The Starbucks in the lobby was a joke. It took an hour to get a burrito that was missing 1/2 the listed ingredients and by what was left on other tables apparently it wasn't the only food failure. In general the help was less than friendly or didn't speak english. Not worth the price is the bottom line.

This hotel is excellent for families! The pool & spa has a splash pad for little ones. There are fun booths in the cafe area with built-in TVs where our kids had breakfast and watched cartoons while we enjoyed coffee & the view. It rained our entire first afternoon and evening, but we enjoyed the live music, lounge/restaurant, and games so much that we weren't fazed by the bad weather.

All of the staff was welcoming, the hotel was clean, and the room was comfortable. We stayed on the island a little longer then planned because the room was perfect for our family, and the beach was beautiful. We will stay here if we travel down 95 again, and are talking about taking a winter trip just to visit the island.

Hotel restaurant is garbage. Pretty sad when the kids won’t even touch the food. Overpriced. Junior suite is dirty neighbors are pound and can here them going to the bathroom. Very disappointed and I hope this is not a sign of how the rest of Jekyll island is going to be. Very bummed out.

The property is lovely and peaceful. We had a junior suite and it was very roomy and comfortable. Only 2 complaints, on our check-out day, The Bistro was out of most ingredients for breakfast. There should be a better explaination regarding purchasing from The Bistro and The Crate. We lost of $10 credit because we didn't understand how it worked. At check-out the staff explained it to us.

My family had a fantastic experience at Courtyard Marriott Jekyll. The room was clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The balcony was awesome and we had a great view of the pool and ocean. The kids loved the saltwater pool and corn hole game. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

The queen suite had a seperate couch/TV area, which was ideal for a family of 4. The large balcony was great for late afternoon and evening lounging. The one downside of the property was the lack of housekeeping staff. Eventhough we did not request daily cleaning, housekeeping staff seemed bothered when clean towels were requested on day 3 of our stay. Housekeeping also seemed iratated when asked to empty our overflowing trash cans. We were told to put our trash in the hall well before 3 pm because staff want to go home at 3pm.

Easy fast check in. The hotel lobby had food but it was not good at all. Over microwaved tasting. Yuck! The shower needed draining and shower on pull didn’t completely turn on shower so that was very annoying!
Common issues in hotels I know! Overall the amenities were nice and location on beach perfect! The pool yard was so pretty and had great yard games provided for the kids while adults could relax by the fireside area!
Overall a great clean and updated hotel!
I would visit this one again .. but likely order food delivered! :)

Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay. That being said, I wouldn't recommend the food on property. I noticed they received a health department rating of a "B"" after we ate there. We enjoy eating in the state of Georgia because they are required to post this, however this is the first place we've eaten at that had anything less than an "A" and it makes a difference! Our dinner was lackluster and the appetizer of spinach and artichoke dip had a strange taste to it. Our view was amazing and our servers and bartender was very helpful!! My husband didn't like the limited choices for breakfast as we've stayed at other hotels during COVID and the breakfast for him at this hotel didn't compare. I however expressed a gluten allergy to the breakfast attendant and she graciously made fresh scrambled eggs for me. She also noticed that the coffee I poured had coffee grounds in it and quickly apologized and made me a fresh one. That was exceptional for me as this was all self serve breakfast! Our room was comfortable and overall the bedroom was clean. Our bathroom floor was clean except for the sand that was left on the floor. Also, the balcony hadn't been swept and had baby cereal on the ground. Overall was a pleasant stay despite the few negatives. Just don't plan on eating there and you should be fine.

Hotel was ok. Clean, good location. But i enjoy sitting on a balcony in the evening when i have an ocean front room. The ac units are outside of each door - drowning out any chance of peaceful, ocean sounds. Also most ocean view rooms also have a pool view. So you either hear the ac unit or kids/music from the pool area. Not sure why a new hotel would be built this way.
