I was pleased with everything. Very friendly and helpful employees. Every employee I came across spoke to me. I like that! My husband and I always stay here when in Decatur, GA visiting family.

We stayed at this hotel as a family with 2 young kids. The staff were incredibly helpful and open about the children. The hotel was clean and updated with no major issues. The rooms were generous in size, and we enjoyed having the extra kitchen sink and fridge available. The night we were there the elevator was a little off. Not a major big deal, but we did have to wait for it for a few minutes several times. Otherwise though, really a great stay and super easy check in and check out options. I did book through hotels.com, and I've had some strange charges on my credit card since then. I'm in the process of sorting that out, and I think the confusion has been on the part of the hotel, not hotels.com.

We were woken at 1 am by the front desk telling us we were in the wrong room. The woman even called again 5 minutes later to confirm my name. It was unconscionable. When I told the kind male front desk person in the morning, he said sorry and didn't offer to make up for it. The room didn't get cleaned between the two nights. The breakfast was pretty bad. And there was construction and carpet cleaning going on in the hallways and rooms early in the morning. Many people who stay here have family in nearby hospitals. This hotel needs to step up its game.
