Awesome hotel, the staff was super helpful, location was great for my family, was able to drive to city and be away at the same time...truly enjoyed

Had 2 family events in Decatur. Hotel was in a good location.

Great customer service but I did not receive an adjoining room out of 3 rooms requested and had small children. We did receive early check-in but the key cards were not working, I had to go down the elevator from the 10th floor 4 times until they finally sent engineering to let us in and check the keypads. After we dropped off our luggage into 2/3 rooms, we were gone for the day, but returned later that evening to check into the 3rd room, which I was told would be adjoining. Once back at the property, we checked into the 3rd room but were moved from the 10th floor because one of the sinks was not working in 1/3 rooms and the 3rd room that we recently were assigned, smelled of mildew and had mildew in the shower. Next, we moved to the 7th floor and I was the lucky one to get a room where the toilet did not flush; it was so disgusting. I didn’t complain because it was already late in the evening when we were moved and had already had the whole fiasco with moving all the kids and luggage. Lucky for us, we were able to use the bathroom in one of the other rooms, but because the room was not adjoining, we had issues with the kids going in and out forgetting the keycards etc. Lastly, the hotel was busy and loud well after midnight and 1/3 elevators was down; it was at least a 10 minute wait to go up or down the elevator. So glad it was only one night! I would probably stay again but would suggest that housekeeping check the toilets, sinks, and showers before reporting as ready.
