The rooms are spacious and clean, but the hotel is under construction. I do NOT remember reading about this on Expedia prior to booking. This was significant because there were no dining options on site except a ‘carry-out’ type of place for snacks. This was not so bad because the hotel next door had excellent dining options. The main issue with construction at the hotel was that the pool was closed and there was no use of a neighboring pool. It is a good thing we are ‘beach people’, but it put a bit of a damper on the kids’ plans.

This hotel should not be open at this time during extensive renovations and you should not be selling it! The advert should be clear about what’s happening!! And not hidden in small print and then an email after we have booked! Also it stinks of cannabis and is noisy! NOT A family location

I liked how easy it was to navigate the resort and it was such a short walk to the beach… I enjoyed the beach service and the drinks and food were pretty good, considering it was “beach service”. I loved our room. We had two full bathroom with stand up showers, that’s very rare. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well as the service. Overall, this was definitely a great stay, I would return with my family for sure.

Pros:
(a) Right at the beach. Hotel provides Beach towels and 2 beach chairs per room.
(b) overall, a good hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Daily housekeeping, water bottles, tea/coffee machine and mini fridge in room.
(b) They provide complimentary 2 rental bikes for 2 hours/day. (No child seat or kids trailer available though).
Cons:
(a) No self parking at the property. Valet parking has an exhorbitant $52/night rate.
We ended up using public parking "garage 6" instead which costs $1/hour (with Max $8 for 24 hours), which is a few blocks away, so it was a bit of a hassle.
If you use "garage 6", two options for going between that and hotel: (1) walking ~10 mins or (2) taking Miami Beach free trolley (bus) using "middle Beach loop" route. You can track the trolleys using "Miami Beach GOV App". Also, there are two different stops near "garage 6". Make sure to use the one across 41st Street if you are going from garage to hotel.
(b) breakfast is available, but paid and very pricey.
(c) During our trip, the pool was actually closed for renovation. Make sure to check the latest status on hotel's website (not Expedia) if that is important to you.

I'm very grateful of the front desk staff. They make my stay memorable by upgrading our room and by gaving as a late check-in
The sad part was that the family pool was too crowded and were some people eating hamburger and nachos, or smoking pot.

Loved the facilities and direct beach access. Great for families and very helpful staff. A bit more in house dining options would’ve been great but there are others nearby in walking distance
