We chose this room for a family stay as the rooms were larger than those in south beach and we were very happy with the choice
2 minutes walk to the beach, free trolley service to south beach and cheap Uber options.
Room was decent and breakfast was fairly standard but extra points for a long service time and having a CVS next door for those snacks !
Would recommend

My kids really liked the pool. It was larger and deeper than expected. They also liked the make your own waffles with whipped cream and sprinkles for breakfast.
Easy walk to the beautiful beach and many very nice restaurants. We had a great time and appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness. The only drawback we encountered was on the first day there seemed to be a problem with the towels. They had no pool/beach towels available and we could only get two bath towels for three people. Towels did not seem to be an issue after the first day.

this hotel was very nice, the kids enjoyed the pool and we liked the free breakfast. the restaurant attached was very good and we like the convenience of a cvs attached. the only issue we had was the tv programing. the channel will show but not whats on, you watch 3 minutes of a commercial and it's nothing you want to watch.

this is really a family friendly place to stay.the hot breakfast was great & most especially the staff they were very friendly, heart warming, accommodating, easy to deal with esp that I have a toddler & daughter with me just by myself they’re always there to help me out with my needs. Big Kudos to this amazing staff! (Anthony, Layla, Santi, Martina,Dario & the rest of the team) u made our summer vacation very memorable & unforgettable one🏝️P.S the free trolley ride just right across the hotel that my little one really likes we always take it going around the downtown area & there’s more places to see with this very convenient public transportation. I’m gonna miss U all Hampton Inn SB family😘 I’ll give U a perfect 10 score 👏

Disappointing. Got injured due to poorly designed sliding doors at the bathrooms. Sliding door was heavy, rolling very fast like a guillotine and there was not a stopper to stop it in the right place to prevent injury. Plus, there was a more than usual gap where the door meets the wall. Due to this poor design, my right index finger was caught up between the door and the wall. I had a lot of bleeding with two very deep and painful cuts. I can’t even imagine what would happen if someone’s child’s finger was caught up there.
The manager and staff were generally helpful after the incident. They apologized, asked if I needed to go to Urgent Care. They sent some First Aid material to the room. A technician dropped by to drill a hole and add a stopper to the system. But damage was already done. My whole family was shocked and the first day of our vacation in Miami was ruined.
I called Hilton Honors Membership Services and let them know about my awful experience and expressed my concerns about public safety at this hotel. They talked with the hotel management. We were refunded for the first day stay which we had booked via Orbitz. Orbitz also reached out and we let them know about our experience. I can’t believe how Hilton and Miami city municipality let the hotel owners approved such a dangerous sliding door design. I confirmed that it wasn’t only our room built this way.

Family traveling with young children. Close to attractions and the beach. Staff was outstanding. I would book with them again.

It was a very quick trip but the room was clean, facility was well kept, they had a large breakfast selection. I didn't eat breakfast there because I was meeting family for breakfast. The price for parking was steep at $45/night.

I stayed here to visit family member in hospital. I can’t say enough about how great the staff is here. They were always available to answer any questions. Highly recommend Hampton Inn Mid Beach. Will be staying again

This is a nice hotel located a block away from Miami Beach. Our room was clean. They did not have bathtubs, only showers, which is inconvenient for families with young children. The breakfast was great. The pool hours said it closed at sunset, which seems too early. But it was a nice pool. Parking was challenging. We ended up paying for the metered parking in front of the hotel (which you can only pay for 3 hours at a time), unloading our bags, then parking overnight at Garage 6 on 42nd street across the bridge for $8 a day. The valet parking at the hotel is $45 a day. They had beach towels you can pick up at the front desk. And there is a pizza restaurant and a cvs connected to the hotel (the pizza was good, we got pizza to go twice).
