We got the junior suite with pool view. Room was nice and clean. The restroom was small. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our 4 day stay.

Hotel was lovely with an easy walk to the beach and a very pretty pool area. My kids loved all the iguanas and lizards they saw. Easily walkable to food, convenience store and the free trolley all around mid and south beach.

Overall an okay property. The room was on the smaller size. No water pressure. The door knob to our balcony was broken.
On the positive side, our room got cleaned everyday despite signage that said cleaning was every other day. Beach access was nice, along with chairs. The kids loved the pool.

We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time and the staff was able to accommodate an early check-in (by 2 hours). While we had waited for a room to be ready the staff provided us with a key for access to the pool and beach area, and we were also able to leave our bags at the bell desk. The property has a swimming pool that is up to 9’ deep on one end which is deeper than the norm and a welcome change. The chairs and umbrellas offered at the pool and beach are also a nice bonus. However, I must warn you that the housekeeping staff seems to find it acceptable behavior to knock on your room door in the early hours to ask you what time you will be checking out, and proceed to OPEN your room door if you do not answer them right away!! This is unacceptable EVERYWHERE I have ever stayed!! If check-out is not until 11am (or noon for late check-out) why on earth is housekeeping stay knocking on doors at 9am?! My sister-in-law and her family stayed at this same hotel and had housekeeping knock on their door 3 different times to ask them when they would be checking out!! I had called the hotel front desk after the staff just opened my door as I was livid that they thought this was acceptable behavior and I was told that this never happens, yet it happened to my sister-in-law just one day prior! What if they had opened the door while one of my kids were changing, or perhaps I was sharing an intimate moment with my husband!?

Arrived at the hotel, didn’t receive the complimentary upgrade (gold member), so ended up spending an extra $68 per night, I asked for the one bedroom suite upgrade and was told there wasn’t any, then asked for the junior suite and again was told there wasn’t any, was told they only had the queen suite available so we took this one. I checked on hotels.com website whilst we were there and they had 3x one bedroom suites available and plenty of junior suites so we were lied to! We went to our room anyway and found it to be dirty, hairs around the toilet, hairs in the bath tub and hairs in the bed!!! Disgusting!! Someone came up and took photos but didn’t say much, we rang reception and they said they’d change our rooms, we waited half an hour and nothing so had to ring them again (they weren’t busy in reception either). In the end we got our room but then waited a further half an hour for the bell boy to deliver our bags from reception, was told he was on his way several times.
The room is very dark and has limited lighting, no lights above the bedroom area, only one small lamp which doesn’t light the room at all. The bathroom is out dated, the water pressure is awful and if you get up early they’ll be no hot water, the reception always had a bad smell in the mornings too. Would not recommend staying in this dump at all!! Never again, we stayed down the road at the Generator and that was far superior and cleaner and also better value for money!!

We paid more than 500 dollars per night to stay here, and the room got flooded on the second day when the weather was rainy. We were moved to a downgraded room with no balcony, view and less amenity and there was no apologies or compensation at all. Our relaxing last vacation days in Miami Beach got totally ruined. It was a horrible experience having to deal with this mess at night and evacuating with my family to another room in rush.
Luckily nobody got injured or have any damaged items because we spotted the flooding early enough to bring all our stuff out of the room.
I’m still very disappointed that the hotel never sent us any warnings when all their 5th floor balconies were starting to flood and the maintenance person was never sent to our room when we first reported this event. This could have been worse if we didn’t spot this ourselves and make an action to move out.

It’s a quiet and relatively small hotel. I been to a couple of hotels in South Beach, like the Fountainbleau,. I like the Radisson because we ara a family of four that enjoy quietness and a family environment. Also the room was cleaned everyday around the same time and that’s always a plus.

We had an excellent stay at the Radisson. It's the most family-friendly option on the beach at this price point. Our room was large & immaculate, the pool area is fantastic and filled with kids, you can order food & drinks to have by the pool, beach access is great (chairs & umbrellas on the beach are included), and the restaurant at the hotel provides an easy option for dinner when you don't have the energy to go out (but of course there are a million other evening options close by as well - you can walk to the Fontainebleu or it's an easy & cheap cab ride to go 20-30 blocks south if you want a lively scene). It's also an easy walk to 41st St (the main drag for residents in mid-beach with many shops).
The best parts: very family friendly, large heated pool (key for winter trips!), everything is immaculate, convenient location
If I had to nitpick about something: Because it is an old pool, it is quite deep (many people are used to modern pools with large shallow ends). This pool starts at 3ft and gets deep quickly (up to 9ft). Our son is 5 and can swim on his own but not long distances, so the depth wasn't ideal. That said, there are large step areas in 2 corners that he used as a home base, and we grabbed a couple pool noodles and an inner tube from Walgreens on 41st to help him explore more of the pool. I saw other reviews about the condition of the pool which after visiting I can say are completely unfounded. The pool is in excellent shape, very well heated, just deep.
