Hampton Inn Boca Raton

My stay at the Hilton Inn was very wonderful. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast area were very nice and polite. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

This was for a 2-night stay to visit family. While it started off well with easy check-in with a welcoming front desk person giving us a good room on a higher floor (though the elevator was broken), the last impression on our last morning was less than good when before we had a chance to check out as we planned, housekeeping came in without permission and started to clean out room. This seemed extra strange not only because we had a right to our room until 11 am when check out is, but also because the hotel made a point to tell us their policy ) also written on a sign at the front desk) that housekeeping would not be allowed in without permission and only available upon request. We requested housekeeping on day one, but obviously not on the day we would be checking out. They entered without our permission and while nothing was missing and we didn't have our things in the room, this was wrong. Left feeling not great about their attention to details around customer service, unfortunately.

Great place, kids friendly

Great basic family hotel. Clean rooms, good daily breakfast , nice staff, easy check in and check out, great location. Pool is big enough for kids to enjoy, but small enough to make watching them easy for parents. Second year staying here and looking forward to returning again.

Upon arrival I picked up the tv remote control and my hand stuck to it and the unknown substance on it. I had a double queen bed room in which you could not sleep in one bed due to the A/C unit being to close to the bed. There is only one elevator in the building which causes a wait. Breakfast arrangements are horrible as there is no seating room for large numbers of guests. The dining area is a poor design with one large round table in the center of the room and other small tables to one side. Basically you are sitting on top of each other. Finally the picture depicted of the pool area is totally deceiving. The pool is located directly behind the breakfast area and sits in front of a small shopping mall parking lot. This is definitely not a family stay hotel. Highly disappointed in Hampton Inn.

We stayed in a double queen room and it was very small. The closet was a curtained off space near the window and the bathroom has a sliding door, likely because there was no room to open a swinging door. There was barely room to store our luggage and walk around the space and when someone was sitting in the only chair in the room, there wasn't even space to walk past them. The room was clean, but could use some updating. One of the mattresses was comfortable, but the second one was in dire need of replacement. The kids didn't mind the lack of support on the bed, so we didn't ask for a new room. Like many hotels, they don't provide daily service, but it was available with a 24 hr. request. It was easy to get clean towels and toilet paper, etc. when needed, either from the housekeepers or at the front desk. The customer service at the front desk was fantastic! We interacted with several different people during our week there and they were all friendly and helpful. We tried the complementary breakfast, but it was not very good, so we ate elsewhere. We didn't use the pool, while we were there, but it looked well maintained. There is no gym on site, but they offered us passes to a nearby gym. Overall, it was an acceptable hotel, but we would likely not stay there when we next visit.
