Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel

I satayed their with my wife and 2 grandchildren we are raising 1 is autistic non- verbal. They were very accommodating in giving us a first floor room. The pool is great and the wife and kids used it for hours each day. All of the personnel were friendly and treated us like family. For food McDonalds and Tomasso's Pizza are close by. Tomasso's delivers. At the hotel there is a restaurant. High class and $$$. On the day we left, my wife noticed she lost a gold earring. We went back and room seevice was cleaning the room. She had found it and gave it to me. She was surprised when I tipped her, but honesty should get rewarded. The valet brought my vehicle around and helped load it even tho we did not valet park it. I recommend this hotel very highly. It's newly renovated. The girl at the pool side bar was extrememy nice. The drinks ( we had the colada) were delicious and reasonably priced. In September Im bringing just my wife for our anniversary.

The hotel was undergoing renovations which I was not aware of when I booked. There was no pool or food available. This was extremely disappointing as it was a family vacation and my daughter was really looking forward to the pool. We arrived late and had to meet friends for dinner and did not have the time to book somewhere else otherwise we probably would have just for that fact alone. However it was a Friday night and Saturday was quiet but Sunday by 10:00 a.m. they had the drills going from the workers on the floor directly below our room it was very loud. We were packing to go though, otherwise that would have been a deal-breaker for me. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeper did a wonderful service of cleaning the room. The front desk gentleman was cordial and helpful. Aside from the workers on Sunday morning it was very quiet which I appreciate it and the beds were extremely comfortable. I'm sure once a Renovations are done this will be lovely as we are typically very loyal to Renaissance brand

This is not a hotel I would recommend. The rooms are very tired from abuse and neglect. The lobby has been renovated, but that is about all the improvements to report. The staff is friendly and helpful but that doesn't make up for the condition of this property. I was traveling with my family and we had 2 rooms, one of which was an executive suite. Don't bother to get the suite as it is just as worn and not welcoming. All the suites are near the elevators so you hear a constant sound. There really are no special amenities and the gym is just fair. If traveling to Boca I would stay at another location.
