I love staying here. The hotel is so moderate and safe, there is a convenient parking garage directly across the street for a great price and yummy places to eat as well as high end shopping within walking distance. My family loves staying here, and if you can upgrade your room with a balcony or sky rise view it is worth it!! Beautiful views of the city and bay! Thank you Hilton for another great stay!

On paper this looks like a good hotel, and the Hilton name usually comes with a standard level of quality but this is well below par.
Not only is it situated in the roughest neighbourhood with homeless people everywhere, evidence of drug use, and human excrement on the sidewalk.
But maintenance levels are poor, decor is tired and the breakfast offering overpriced with no choices, especially for allergies.
We were charged $45 per person, even the kids, two of which only had toast.
Some pluses are the pool and gym. It’s not somewhere I’d recommend, especially for a family city break.

The 2 day stay was very pleasant with my family...and the bartender David in the main lobby entrance was amazing....so friendly..
As well as the others 😁...that itself would make me come back.... thank you Hilton of San Francisco 👍

The property was fine but the area was horrific. Homeless and crime, felt unsafe. We were originally given a room with a view of a tent city. When we complained the said if we don’t like then it is a min of $50/night to upgrade. Kinda felt like we had no choice as it was our anniversary and 1st time in 8 years getting away without kids.
Kinda disappointing from a Hilton property and being an Honors member for so long

Jayshree assisted me at the front desk and she was kind and helpful. I appreciated her giving me choices on a room and remembering my family when we checked out.

I chose to stay at the Hilton because I was taking my 9 year old to see Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at The Curran. The Hilton was perfect proximity to walk a young child to after a theatre show at 11PM. The hotel was SOOOO busy though, there were literally hundreds of people in the lobby when we checked in and came back after the show. It was so loud in there, my daughter and I could hardly hear each other. The next morning, I suppose the hotel was overwhelmed so room service never even picked up when I called 5 or 6 times to try to order. I was very disappointed.

We stayed in a junior suite and while the room itself was nice and roomy, the bathroom was the worst we've seen in a long time. It was very small, lacked counter space and the shower head wasn't great. The room overall lacked good lighting.
