Rudy at the front desk was awesome. The valet is a must. The maid actually decorated the kids bed with their stuffed animals.

Stayed two nights, one in a double queen room, one in a junior suite - both were gorgeous and spacy. Area ok - it is San Francisco and one block over seems shady, but for the area, it felt safe. We had no problem finding street parking, but the hotel offered valet parking ($75), should we have needed it. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The one bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four. Having a separate bedroom from children for young ones to go down earlier. we enjoyed the Italian restaurant right inside the hotel. Short walk to Union Square and Chinatown. Convenient self park locations Right in the same block. The kids enjoyed the wide window sills to watch the bustling city below.

My family stayed here for a trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. We brought our two little ones, 3 yo and 9 month old and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating.
We stayed in a suite, which had a separate living area with a pull out couch, and room for the pack and play/crib which the hotel provided and set up. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and service was great.
The hotel is boutique, it is charming and recently redone with updated furnishings and decor. I will definitely come back!

Came to meet family, we arrivedvery late as our flight was delayed. The night receptionist wasn't the best he was so concerned about charging an extra $75 a night then letting us go to our room and sleep. The next morning was so different as Nessy (the receptionist ) was so helpful and explained everything to us, she also helped us with sightseeing bookings which was most appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and staff.

We had an amazing time at The Marker Hotel. The room was perfect for a family of four (King Suite) and the beds were very comfortable. There was a starbucks and deli down the street and a walgreens across the street which was very convenient. There is also a hertz a block away if you need to rent a car.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Check in was so easy and we were able to check in early. The restaurant in the hotel closes early but the bartender was very friendly and recommended a number of places where we could go after closing that were walking distance. The rooms are a bit smaller than other places we've stayed but it didn't affect our stay at all. We still had all the amenities of any other hotel. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping too. We didn't have a view of the city and that was probably our only complaint but some just don't have that. The lobby offered multiple spots to sit and hang out with huge fireplaces and cozy seating. I felt at home there. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend it. Thank you to the staff that made our baby free weekend so great.

Beautiful hotel. Great location and was within walking distance to Union Square and great restaurants. I was upgraded to a junior suite which was fantastic. Minor issue: There was no soap in the bathroom and the TV remote did batteries so I couldn’t watch TV.

The stay was overshadowed by having not been allocated interconnecting rooms for our young family as I’d requested and reconfirmed directly with the hotel several times. When we checked in (exhausted after a long haul flight) we were told we’d been allocated rooms on separate floors and there was no record of my request! I had to push hard even to get rooms next to each other, and this caused multiple difficulties throughout our stay which made it less relaxing.
There is also a huge ‘resort fee’ added at the end which apparently covers the wifi and free coffee - this is a massive rip off for things that should be included in the price of a mid range hotel. San Francisco was wonderful, the Marker is in a great location - but this was terrible service and we would not stay again.
