Marriott Marina del Rey

Beautiful family hotel I loved it pool and hot tub where amazing

I booked a 2 bed room for 3 nights 2 adults and 2 children, when I checked in the front desk told me that they didn’t have a 2 bed room for me only a 1 king size bed, this is a big problem not professional I booked my room within a week before

We used to live in L.A. and now we came as tourists to visit family. We love the beach area so much that we decided to stay here at the Marriott in Marina del Rey and we are so happy we chose this place. They gave us a room with a view to the marina, we were greeted with friendly staff and though valet parking is available, across the street is plenty of public parking where you can also leave your car for $15 for 24hrs but there is no in and out access. We got this room through Expedia on a very good deal and I think we will definitely get it again if there is another good deal for this hotel. We got this room in mid January and though it was drizzling the night we got there, the next day was warm and really nice because the sun came out and turned out to be a beautiful day. Even the drizzle that night wasn’t too bad because we walked to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner! We loved the experience here, specially because you are within walking distance to all the local restaurants and shops and even the beach is across the street where you can play volleyball, fire up a BBQ and sit at the picnic tables to have lunch. Also, the hotel offers electric bike rentals that you can rent for the day and ride to the famous Abbot Kinney blvd. It is a beautiful and fun place to enjoy your stay!

We were 3 adults one child. We asked for a crib 4 days before we got there. Had to ask 4 more times had a pull out bed no sheets or blankets for that! Room was not ready had to wait 1 and a half hours to get another room without the view I paid for! Got a text at 12:30 that night saying room was now ready?!?! I think you have a staff shortage and didn’t tell us! Will not stay at a Marriott again! Not worth the price and had to ask for everything! Sheets 3 times I asked for them but to get a blanket was ridiculous asked for it 4-5 times!

The Marriott Marina del Rey is an attractive hotel within easy walking distance of the huge marina and Venice Beach. While standard beds versus queens was a bit disappointing (although beds were comfortable and bedding was top drawer), room size, including bathroom, was large enough for our family of four to get ready in the morning without too much fuss. Staff were accommodating and very professional.

After 5 weeks in the states and three children it was really nice to turn up at the Marina Del Rey and not have to worry about a thing, will be back....

When making the appointment I forgot to add my kids to guest staying but when I got there and explained everything they were so professional and kind and because of the room I booked it didn’t cost me any extra money. The valet are so kind and always ready to help. The rooms are nice and for a day at the beach the room set up was perfect (sand didn’t end up everywhere). I will definitely be staying again!
