Great room, ideal for families since the bay has such calm waters for wading and paddle boarding. Also there is a beach play ground. Lots of walkable places to eat. The actual beach is about a 15/20 minute walk. Really lovely staff. Rooms are very quiet. The drinks are a bit pricey but that’s every hotel. Overall had a great stay.

On the beach, family pet friendly. Beachside Restaurant has excellent entrees so we ate there most meals. Other restaurants nearby were nowhere near as good. The area was very busy with traffic not that pedestrian friendly. We stayed and walked on the beach boardwalk - nice.

I stayed here with my husband and two children, the hotel was great, beautiful and quaint. The room was a little small for the four of us but we made it work. The beach was fantastic. and the staff was SO friendly. We ate at the restraunt two or three times. Food was top notch a bit spendy but you are at the beach in LA. Great Proximity to LAX and other beaches like Venice and Santa Monica.

Steps to a sandy beach area with a children’s playground and paddle boarding. Across the street from Killer Shrimp, great restaurant. We definitely enjoyed it.

The walls are paper thin - stayed there with my family for a special occasion and spent the whole night listening to the couple next door going at it. Very, very, clearly. Super uncomfortable! So be forewarned especially if coming with family and younger children.

Beautiful location for family and nice place to walk around with kids. Pool and spa needs updating the tiles are falling off and very old and run down. Spa had green mould growing in it so would avoid that area.

Property was nice but a little dated. Valet guys were excellent and very helpful. Lady at the front desk who I overheard was the supervisor was very rude to other guests on the way she was talking to them. The gentleman that checked me in was nice. 1 complaint my wife had was the bathroom had very poor lighting. She had a hard time putting her makeup on. Restaurant didn’t have a great selection and not very family friendly.

We've stayed at this hotel many times while visiting our children who live nearby. It seems to me that the condition of the rooms needs attention (at least our room): long, long wait for hot water, shower controls came off, and sink would not hold water---so we wasted a lot of water waiting for hot and while washing our face, etc.
