I’ve stayed here before when visiting family that’s in the hospital at UCLA. Back here again for the same reason. Easy walk to anywhere in Westwood Village and ti Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

This place is a great value for parents looking to spend some quality time with their kids at UCLA. Safe walking distance to plenty of nice restaurants.

Definitely not worth the price. You’re paying because you’re in Westwood. But the rooms are gnarly at best. Carpeted floorboards…gross. Door that’s filthy. Stained pics on the wall…water stains? Idk. But don’t let the name fool you, it’s anything BUT a palace. Maybe straight outta Pulp Fiction…zeds dead baby. Zeds dead. Gross

If you have a kid at UCLA and want to visit, this is a great place, location-wise. And they have a no-frills continental breakfast. However, the property needs repairs. We visited during an historic rain event, and the carpeting closest to the exterior wall and next to the heater was saturated, as well as other random areas on the carpet. There was mold in the bathroom, and in order to crack the bathroom window (no fan), you used a short dowel rod. One of the electrical outlets was pulling out as well. And the ceiling featured remnants of a roof leak.

The first room we were given smelled heavily of smoke. The second room was better, but there must have been pets previously in the room, because my allergies were bad all night and I could barely breathe. The bathroom was the nicest part of the room, recently renovated. The continental breakfast was a joke and they should just eliminate it as an option. The food was horrible. My son got generic Cherrios as well as generic milk, which he had to throw out because it was inedible. He is NOT a picky child, so I was surprised that it tasted so bad, but trusted him. I stuck with a banana and instant oatmeal, since that is hard to mess up. Anyway, better to not do the breakfast at all. The parking was crowded and very narrow, so don't bring a large car. The only thing good about the hotel was its location, close to Westwood and walking distance to UCLA, which was why we were there.

Difficult to find. Night staff very helpful & welcoming. Day staff unsmilingly businesslike, could be more personable. Breakfast included onsite very convenient, food fresh/plentiful. Great value with the free parking, free breakfast, walking distance to attractions, near UCLA medical. We booked hotel to stay near our family member undergoing UCLA medical surgery.

Nice family hotel.
My only negative remark is that the Wi-Fi should be improved.
