Came to Arkansas to visit Magic Springs with my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Riven met us when we got there and I appreciated the hospitality fresh off a road trip!

Excellent stay. Would be a great room to stay in with the kids.

Very clean and lovely! We didn’t have a working toilet on night 3. We were given a plunger to use even though we explained it wasn’t clogged it just simply wasn’t getting any water pressure. The plunger obviously did not work since the toilet wasn’t clogged and the hotel wouldn’t accommodate us in any way besides having us pack all of our belongings and our family and bring them to the lobby to exchange keys which would have inconvenienced us further when the broken toilet was not in fact our fault since we hadn’t even been there to use it. We were also told this had been happening with other rooms so if we moved rooms we would have liked to know if the new room had a working toilet. We even asked if we could just know the room number of the room we would be moved to so we could set our belongings there and were told absolutely not. Would have loved to stay longer but we had to pack all of our belongings anyways because of the toileting situation so we saw no need to continue spending our money here.

The staff was very pleasant during our stay, but the amount of noise was ridiculous! There is virtually zero insulation, so you can hear every word of the people next to you. And, if you aren’t on the top floor, it sounds like elephants are living above you. My husband had to go and sleep in the car the first night because the walking above us kept waking us up. We moved to the 4th floor, but the next door neighbor was coughing almost all night and it sounded like she was in our room. The pull out couch was squeakier than anything I’ve heard and the kids had a hard time going to sleep or being able to move. Wouldn’t stay here every again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who requires quiet to sleep. The kitchenette was a nice touch, although it was very poorly laid out.

The hotel had no soap in our room. There was no way for us to wash your hands. The staff said there’s soap was on back order. My husband had to run to Walmart to buy us some. The swimming pool does not have a view of the lake as shown on the website. There are overgrown hedges blocking the view. There are exposed rusty screws and splintering wood on the pool furniture. Be careful if you have children. The front desk staff is so rude. I couldn’t get extra towels for my family unless I turned in dirty towels to the front desk. All of the hand sanitizing stations were empty. The water jug in the fitness center was empty. The back door to the hotel does not lock creating safety issues. There were people smoking around the swimming pool at this smoke-free property. It is obvious the staff does not care about this property. It’s fairly new and is falling apart.
