A little tired around the edges. Had aa family dinner in the restaurant and can honestly say it is the worst meal we have had in years. Bland, and poor quality. We did mention it and were told it was because there were weddings elsewhere in the building.

The most romantic place for a couples getaway - works for families too!
Great rooms, great food, and great service.

I went there with my parents and nephew for a long weekend. Highlights are: we asked a accessible room due to my parents age and my disabled nephew and promptly they have accommodate us in a ground floor room. Delicious food - a special thank you to Maria at the breakfast for helping us as not my entire family speaks English - incredible English and continental breakfast! We also had lunch on Sunday at the bar and grill restaurant I can guarantee it’s one of the best foods I ever had!! With exquisite landscapes, the place looks like a dream!

Nice hotel for a long weekend with the family. Grounds are lovely, staff were excellent. It's a little run down however, rooms could use a refresh. Cleaning so-so (room was dusty) and the Cast Iron restaurant for dinner was a bit of a disappointment. We had a good time but not itching to go back

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay on the drive home from visiting family and St. Pierre Country Club would have been the perfect place were it not for the noise. The grounds are stunning, the room was comfortable and spacious, it was just what we needed until guests came home from an event in the early hours of the morning, drunk, rowdy and noisy. I know that this happens with hotels, and that the other guests were just enjoying themselves. They woke us up, but we could have quickly settled back to sleep until one of them started banging on the door of a room down the corridor. I poked my head out to see what the noise was and to see if I could assist, and a drunken, aggressive women shouted at me before resuming kicking the door of her room (I presume she was locked out). The high ceiling meant that sound was carried down the corridor and echoed loudly throughout our room. As the kicking sound went on, I phoned the reception hoping that someone could let her into her room or resolve the issue. For about 30 minutes as the banging went on, I rang the reception again and again, on multiple numbers from multiple phones and had no response. There’s supposed to be 24 hour support, but we felt absolutely unsupported. Eventually the kicking stopped and we got back to sleep, but this completely ruined our stay, especially ahead of a long drive down to the south of England the next morning. If you decide to stay here, we’d highly recommend bringing earplugs!!

Nice old building with an interesting history - extended over the years to provide decent leisure and meeting facilities, and of course the golf course. Lakeside "village" accommodation was spacious, comfortable and quiet - but obviously lacks the historical atmosphere of the old building. Some areas and paintwork in the "village" appeared tired, and didn't give the luxury feel experienced as you enter the main building. I had booked three rooms, and this wasn't unique to just one of them. Also, probably because of the time of year (November) the lakeside patio area looked a bit untidy, with leaves all over the patio and patio furniture, the paving needing a power wash and the fencing needing painting. However, non of this detracted from an enjoyable family getaway, and overall the service received in all areas was very good.

Outstandingly friendly and welcoming staff, especially at reception. We have a 9-year child with severe autism, and the female member of staff who welcomed us was exceptionally kind and helpful, making sure we were able to get an early meal in the restaurant.
Also, the rooms were excellent, as was the restaurant and the swimming pool.

It was absolutely lovely, fabulous staff who were so happy and friendly, beautiful location. We were attending a family wedding elsewhere and many family members stayed there too and all agreed it was amazing

Great hotel and facilities, Well kept with all areas clean and tidy . Used the Spa facilities which were great . Room was pleasant and clean and staff helpful. The only downside was the pool was is not particularly big and each time we used it it was being used for children's swimming lessons or children of local members hence not the most quiet, relaxing of spa
