Novotel Edinburgh Park

We had a really great time at Novotel in Edinburgh. We were so close to the Tram and able to go into the city in 10-15 minutes. Our room was very clean and comfy. The service was 5 stars. The breakfast was impressive with a lot of variety. The hotel restaurant was excellent. Our kids also enjoyed the pool. A very good choice if you want to visit Edinburgh!!

Great hotel, right next to the tram line that runs from the airport to the city centre, all the way to Newhaven. The staff were amazing, at Reception and in the restaurant, they were so family-friendly! It was our granddaughter’s 2nd birthday and the staff really made it special. The Executive rooms were really comfortable, had air conditioning (virtually unheard of in UK!) as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The grandchildren loved the indoor pool too, with towels provided, plus there’s a gym. Would highly recommend this hotel for location and service. It’s next to a retail park with large supermarket and drive-thru restaurants. Bear in mind that with great transport links comes some noise, from the Tram and Train lines. Make sure your window is completely closed and they shouldn’t bother you.

Family friendly, clean facilities, love the pool and restaurant. Great for young kids.

Good for family stay

Great for families! We booked a Superior Deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 kids but we were upgraded to an executive suite on arrival free of charge. This meant we didn’t have to pay the £12 parking charge and you get a complimentary drink each. The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very large. The views are nothing special. We were looking at KFC! But that’s expected considering the area location. The pool was clean and heated, perfect for the kids and they enjoyed the bubbles from the jacuzzi area. It was not crowded at all and we basically had the pool to ourselves most of the time on a Saturday evening. My husband used the gym, which he said was great and also not crowded first thing in the morning. We had breakfast included in our booking, which was pretty standard. Not as much choice as we’d have liked but overall was decent. We’d definitely recommend the hotel and would come again!

Fantastic location with easy access to local amenities, the city centre, and the airport. The staff were very friendly and the venue is suitable for families, couples or solo travellers. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, comfy spacious rooms, bathrooms modern & clean and kids loved swimming pool. Service in restaurant was very good and great breakfast selection. Great transport links to city and east parking on site. Definitely recommend.

Great hotel, not far from home, sadly we were kept awake by a dog constantly barking on our floor from one of the rooms in the odd numbers. Checked out early and went home to bed. Not really the break from the kids we came for

We recently stayed at the Novotel hotel and was extremely impressed with our experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also great, with places to eat (KFC, krispy kreme donut) and shops nearby. Overall, I would give the Novotel Edinburgh Park hotel a 9 out of 10 rating and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The indoor pool is big advantage if you plan to spend some time in the hotel especially with small kids. We would like to thank the staffs for a superb gesture to welcome my wife who had her 40th birthday! The bar tender guy was kind enough to offer a complimentary drink when the beer tap fell short of filling up my glass by few drops! The receiption was awesome in guiding us with local attractions, helping with late checkout and booking an airport cab in seconds! Our 1.5 yo left her soft toy at hotel and when we contacted hotel after checkout, Daniella was extremely helpful in finding out the same and assuring us to return it our home address. We are so happy about that. Overall A BIG shout out to the staffs of Novotel Edinburgh Park hotel! Few things that can be improved are, carpets in the room, quite worn out. Food options in the restaurant (do not try chicken tikka masala!).
