A cool place to stay. The family room does actually fit a family comfortably, unlike other London hotels in the same price range. We loved the eclectic decor and vibe of the common areas.

Drove up to London for a couple of days to take the kids out to museums and needed somewhere east to drive to with a car park to ditch the car & picked the Moxy & wasn’t disappointed. The room we had was much bigger than other hotels in the area we had stayed at. The room had two sections with their own TVs which was great for the kids, the shower room was big and there was a room on the floor to iron your clothes. Staff were excellent in reception and the hotel was very clean. Overall we were very impressed and will stay again in the future instead of visiting the novatel near the excell.

Stayed for one night with family and friends whist at a concert. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely. Gorgeous bed and room. Very clean, fab amenities. Only problem with the room was that the settee bed did not have a mattress, our booking was for 4 people. I was a surprised the room was not ready/checked for my booking. Upon leaving for the evening at 7, I informed the receptionist and was told that this would be rectified upon our return. Fast forward to 1:50 am, I was very disappointed to find that we still had no 2nd bed. I once again went back to reception to report the problem and was given an alternative room for myself and son. This was appreciated considering the early hour, although I would have preferred to stay in the room originally booked altogether.

Stayed for two nights. Good price, nice breakfast, roomy family room, was clean and no bed bugs! I didn't get used to the automatic room door though, maybe too fancy for me. I have to put the large chair behind the door at night to feel secure.

I've been to Moxy several times over the last 8 years, both in this Excel and Stratford, and I've booked the family room a few times too. I got the dates wrong so was hoping to cancel this booking but they didn't accept so I just went anyway, but I wish I got my refund because the visit was appalling. There were strange stains all over the walls with what looked like rape residue, plaster. The glass side table lights weren't working like they usually do in the other rooms, the carpet in places were stained and ironed, the bathroom had yellow shower curtains and it absolutely smelt like someone didn't flush, and the smell just wouldn't go away. The curtain also was torn off slightly so I couldn't make sure the view was covered fully. Very disappointing. I'm a regular Moxy-goer and paying so much for this just hurts me, I'm wondering if I'll go back at all.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. We love the spaciousness of the family room, and it’s a great location to explore London now the Elizabeth line is open. The staff are helpful and there’s always someone around. We will definitely return.

We stayed here whilst we explored London and met with family friends. The hotel itself is quirky, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and helpful, including the night security. We booked a family room, which had a partition wall which gave the children more space and their own TV. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious, in the lobby there is a selection of board games and activities which allow for a little light entertainment in the evening. The grab and go is well stocked and available throughout the day/evening.

Visiting family nearby. Room very comfortable but very small. No wardrobe and just 4 hangers on a hook for shirts/blouses. Used to stay at a nearby hotel but the noise from rowdy guests prompted us to have a change. The room was very dark and very quiet. Had two nights excellent sleep. Offered a free cocktail on checkin. Don’t bother accepting. Very little alcohol, warm and tasteless, vimto would be better. Bar not very well stocked, so after first drink there, went elsewhere.
