The hotel is in the perfect location, 10 steps away from the beach, and strip of large beach hotels. It gives you the opportunity to relax away from the at times many beach goers. However even on its busiest weekends the amount of people didn’t compare to a New York beach, which was great! The beach was lovely. Beautiful views in lounge areas to watch the sunrise and rooftop to watch the sunset. The staff are very kind, helpful, always cleaning,it feels like family run. Always had parking, and security at night which made me feel safe. Walking distance to eateries and close to the major highways for venturing out.

quiet area, although the hotel was not a "resort" it was family friendly and staff extremely helpful. Everyone was kind and respectful. I stayed there since i was there to take care of some family emergency. It was a good place to go home to de-stress after a long day.

I loved the personal touch that Alberto added. Welcoming us like family members into his small hotel. Him and the rest of the staff was very accommodating. We needed a crib for our baby and there it was. Although the building itself is from 1959 and visibly antique, it has unique beauty that no modern hotel can offer. This is not a fancy hotel but I felt safe and cozy.

I loved staying at the playita because the staff is sooo nice. Thank you Yailin, Alberto, and sweet coco. My friends and i felt comfortable, safe, and the staff made us feel like family. They did everything to accommodate us and make sure our trip went perfect. I would definitely recommend.

The motel was quit and friendly family owned ,Right on the beach close to shopping, and dining. What i didn't like was no coffee pot in the rooms. We are coffee drinkers Other than that it was perfect. Highly recommend this motel.

Needs to have an outdoor shower to wash the sand off before entering your room. Needs things for breakfast for the kids.Great location near the beach. Parking is very difficult due to all the locals parking so close. But, not much to do since the road is public property. Otherwise the stay was great. Owners always helping you with any problems you have. Coco was the great.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at La Playita. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Alberto (the owner) was extremely kind and provided us with a tour of the place and was in contact as soon as I booked my reservation until check in. Coco is a friendly mascot who also takes good care of the guests. On another note, towels (especially white ones) are extremely important to me. Our towels were WHITE, not beige! Towels and sheets were vey clean. I am looking forward to going back with my family.
