Avid Hotels Tijuana Otay, an IHG Hotel

I’ve stayed here four times and never had any issues. The staff is always extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. We also really enjoy the breakfast. It’s always more than just juice and bread. I will continue to stay here when I come to visit family.

I liked the hotel a lot, we just need to put more order at breakfast time, not much help there thanks for all my family was very happy see you soon

It was a very nice hotel everything is where I knew the beds are very comfortable the staff is very friendly. they have a lobby with a 24 hour coffee bar it's very nicely set up I would definitely recommend this to friends and family will be going back there

CON: 1. I checked in upon arrival (around 3:30), there was a huge group of people that were also checking in and by the time it was my turn I was asked to wait an hour to get my key (I had previously made reservations and had already paid in advance for the room). I came back to the hotel an hour later and I was told that the room was not ready. Which I asked how long more, and they said they didn’t even know if they were going to have a room. I was there with two small children and they had also changed my reservation from 2 beds to 1 bed without asking me. The girl at the reception said that all reservations are subject to availability upon checking in so keep that in mind. After all the bad moment, they proceeded to get me a room within minutes. So there were rooms available but I’m not sure what their process is. 2. No mini fridge or microwave in rooms 3. Very small lobby, breakfast time was very crowded PRO: 1. New hotel so everything was nice (beds, pillow, layout). 2.Rene was great and went above and beyond to assist with their mini market they have. 3. During breakfast hour, this other gentleman (I didn't get his name) saw us standing up and approached us to help us find somewhere to sit.
