We had a wonderful stay! I was disappointed that the children could not go swimming because the pool was in the forum building that did not allow children. There should be an entrance or tunnel that would allow the children the access to the pool.
The staff was fantastic!! Thank you all!!!

The hotel for family’s does not have any options, since everything is within the casino side. Such poor planning. People under 18 can’t use the pool or access the majority of restaurants. Self park is also far, and requires walking on road or through casino.

While some of the staff were pretty friendly, some front desk staff were absolutely rude. When we went to the front desk to see if kids were allowed at the hotel pool, the gentleman at the front desk didn't even look up from his screen and just said "Absolutely not!" and kept doing what he was doing. Treated us as if customers were a massive inconvenience to him. The rooms are very nice, but this hotel has the WORST layout I have ever seen in a hotel. Everything is incredibly hard to get to. From the parking lot, you either have to navigate down a public street to get to the building, or go through a casino that is clearly designed to make you give up on ever finding the exit so you sit down and play the slots. At one point, I tried to get a coffee at the Tim Hortons in the building, and after ten minutes wandering through this place, I had to retrace my steps back to the hotel lobby and then exit the building to try another exit. Did I mention this hotel is brutally hard to navigate? They make everything 10x harder than it needs to be. Bottom line: nice hotel. PAINFUL customer experience.

Our hotel room was nice; clean, comfortable, and modern. But this is not a family hotel and should not have come up in my filters as one.
There is a pool but children are not allowed. There are restaurants and a food court inside but since kids can't go through the casino to get to them it's a pain to use them with a family. The kids were super disappointed with not being able to use a pool and I would never have thought that could be a condition in a "family friendly" hotel.
There are also several hidden fees ~$28 CAD for tourists which makes no sense and add to your stay cost. Self parking is free, just mind the height of your vehicle and take off any roof racks etc. We checked in at 14:00 and had to pay $45 CAD extra for this, even though the hotel was not busy and the room was ready. Totally unnecessary.
I will not be staying here again and do not recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a young family

We had a great stay at Caesars Windsor. We had a junior suite in the Forum Tower and the room was amazing - spacious, clean with a gorgeous view of the Detroit skyline. We would definitely stay here again!

Not a fantastic experience. If you haven't been here before there are very limited instructions on where to go for parking, hotel, etc. At 8 months pregnant we had to truck our 2 year old around the outside of the building in February because there is no indoor route to the hotel for those under 19. Also very limited options for food for those with children. Not family friendly as advertised...

It was very clean. Not all, but most of the staff seemed inconvenienced when we asked questions. We also booked in the Forum Towers but upon arrival we were sent to the side with children.
