No bell people to help with bags. They have the bell option on the phone. But I was told there was nobody that could help with my bags. Which is inconvenient with a newborn.

Our family of four needed a place to stay over the holidays and this hotel met our needs perfectly. The room was huge and comfortable. The washroom was in need of an update but it was acceptable. The restaurants were very nice with good food. It was very convenient having the restaurants right in the hotel since there aren’t many places to eat nearby. I would book this hotel again.

The beds were comfy and the on-site breakfast was quite good. There was a permanently soggy area of carpet in the sitting area. I was assured someone would come look at it, but they never did. Requested house keeping services (at check in and the following morning) and was told it would be done, but they never came. I did manage to get two additional towels (for our family of 5) grudgingly left in the sitting area after the third request. On-site dinner was so dry and overcooked i couldn't eat it.

Check-in was terrible. It was over an hour long because there wasn’t a room available for us even though we had a reservation, she tried shuffling us to different hotels, and I stood there with my children in the lobby for over an hour until she could get us a room and not the room that we originally booked

Clean and friendly staff Julius was pleasant, professional and so helpful through my family’s entire visit, Only complaint I have is parking! Other than that I would stay at The Doubletree Again

Manager was nice and the staff member that checked me in was wonderful. Room
Was bad . Mold in shower and shower was filthy. Told another staff member and they said we might can have y’all take a shower in another room in the morning. My family of 4 with a child under 3 had to take a bath at the sink . No one came or called to say we have a room or comp the room .

While the service was wonderful, the room left a lot to be desired. My family and I arrived Friday for our sightseeing trip to Detroit. When we walked into the room, we were surprised to find the door propped open by the swing lock. We though perhaps they were still cleaning, but that was not the case. When I opened the nightstand, I found a partial sleeve of Trojan condoms, which appeared quite greasy. This room appeared to have been being used by the staff for hookups. The couch in the seating area was full of stains. We put a sheet across it so we could feel safe sitting on it. Aside from the lack of cleanliness, the towel bar in the sink/mirror area kept falling off the wall. The walls and trim were marked up and scratched, and the sprinkler system consisted of a sprinkler head sticking down through a jagged hole in the drywall of the ceiling. There was neither an escutcheon plate, not any other attempt to cover the gaping hole. The hotel removing the valet charges from my bill did little to assuage my disappointment in the accommodations. I am not sure I will ever again pay for a room sight unseen via the Internet. If you are looking for a hotel that is centrally located, and you do not care about cleanliness, this may be the hotel for you. As far as we are concerned, in the future, we will stay at the Courtyard Marriott.

Terrible stay from the get go. My family and I were traveling with our 3 month old baby, so I called at 9am the day of our stay to ensure we could get a crib for our room. Lady answering said “Call back in 10 minutes.” Bad customer service skill right there. Got there and no surprise there was no crib in our room, even though they said they would have one when I called them back. Took them over an hour to get a crib up to our room and when they did get one there, it was broken with a giant bump in the middle, so not useful for getting a baby to sleep in it. No one at the front desk answered anytime we called from our room. We paid for breakfast with our Expedia reservations and the staff seemed to know nothing about it and were not friendly about it, but were rather confrontational. When we did order breakfast, it took about 60 minutes to get our food…pancakes. Absolutely terrible customer service and parking lot was a sardine can for anything other than a compact car. Go elsewhere and thank me later.
