Well kids yelling and screaming in the hallways at 8am for hours was not awesome. Even after a call and visit from hotel security, nothing changed. And get ready for this - a barking dog. At 9am. In a Holiday Inn. We’ve always had a good experience with Holiday Inn; however, we will never, ever return to this dumpster fire of a hotel…

The location of the hotel is just perfect. Its sutting directly across from the Detroit Skyline. The walk along the river in the evenings is just relaxing. The hotel is clean. The breakfast is filling and yummy. It works perfevtly for those travelling with kids. The pool though small, has warm water and for me, that's a plus. The staff is plesant. The extended hours coffee station is also much appreciated.

Clean and quiet in spite of a large group of families with children.
Surprised to find paper plates, plastic cutlery and paper cups in the breakfast room. Please be environmentally responsible and use china and flatware.
Breakfast was good with many options.

Overall was very good , my only not do good comment would be about the parking, didn't have any on site available had to go across the back alley .
Its understandable spaces are very limited , but in winter or raining days with kids etc...a bit of a challenge.
But again for the location right downtown its understandable.
Staff was very friendly, and attentive.
Had a beautiful view on my window of Detroit.

The problems with the stay was not the hotel. It was hockey tournament weekend and the hockey oarents allowed the kids to run free making noise in the halls till after midnight..
Not impressive..

Parking a little bit challenge in hotel premises. You need to walk 5 mins to get an additional parking lot. Rather than that, we enjoy the stay. Staff and services are awesome
. Thanks to make my family stay enjoyable

Parking is not free (do not be deceived) as it sounds like parking is included and when their parking lot is full (which is a small lot, by the way), you will have to park across the street in the parking garage-$15 per night charge. Swimming pool was "out of order" due to cleaning so my kiddos wasn't able to enjoy that on our down time. No one was cleaning or working on the pool. Overall, blah experience at the hotel. It's a walkable distance to the river and view of Detroit skyline. Windsor, Canada was a beautiful experience but sadly, will not visit this specific hotel again.

This property is located right near the waterfront. There are a lot of dining options that are walking distance. Very convenient location right in the downtown core. The only issue i disliked was how tight parking was on the property. The property had alternative options for parking if you couldn't find one in the immediate area. However, I'd prefer parking readily available very close, especially for luggage and small children. Since the parking was situated the way it was i was reluctant to drive anywhere. I really didn't want to loose our convenient spot and have to go across the street. Overall the experience was a good one and breakfast was great.

One of the best continental breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel. The staff were friendly. The room was very quiet and clean. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay!
