My family had a fabulous stay at Fairmont Chateau Laurier! Everyone was very friendly and professional. The hotel was an example of elegance and class. You can feel the history of the hotel as you walk into the main lobby. The room we had was excellent and spacious! Our comfort level was to the stars and the amenities were amazing! We definitely will come back for our next vacation! Thank you Fairmont Chateau Laurier !!

Was not a pleasant stay. Went with my two kids and mother for Mother’s Day and paid for a double room. It was a single room the size of a closet. Wanted to bring the kids swimming, and found out we needed reservations. The pool could only accommodate 10 swimmers at a time, but there were only five in the pool and five fully dressed along the side of the pool. For $460 a night it was AWFUL!

Beautiful property within a walkable distance to restaurants, shops and of course, Parliament Hill. Clean and spacious rooms designed with lots of intricate details. It was lacking in some areas, for example, the room did not have a fridge or microwave which was quite inconvenient, especially since we have kids. Also, they misplaced our luggage which took nearly 30 minutes to get to our room. We also used the valet service, which took another 30 minutes, which we didn't realize. There's a cheaper parking garage right behind the building that we should have used instead of valet had we not been so tired. Anyways, aside from these inconveniences, it was still worth the stay!

Overpriced, internet, breakfast parking not even included. Inside the lobby and around is beautiful with history but over rated. Pool is not small kids friendly. Parking is only valet overpriced and you get a waiver after the key drop off that theif and damages are not their responsibility….

My dream comes true. It was an unbelievable stay. My kids also loved it. Our view was the best. The staff is super nice and they are always ready to help us.

They really took care of us - staff was great and we had a terrific suite, big enough for the whole family. Love that you can bring your doggos when you travel as well.

We spent a quick few days in Ottawa and the hotel is perfectly located to many of the sights if you want to park the car! The staff was always friendly, accommodating and patiently answered our questions. We loved our room, especially that it had a full and half bath, and it was roomy for our family of 4. The history of the hotel was so interesting. The buffet breakfast was excellent but a bit pricey. We would totally stay here again.
