Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Markham

I come visit my family from Vegas around 3 times a year and always stay there. disappointed that something as simple as the all in one machine at the gym was missing the short cable handles so most exercises couldn’t be performed. I’ve stayed there 15-17 times in the past. Will give Sheraton across the street a go next time I visit in November.

The place was clean, the room was as expected nice and neat, bathroom was clean, the pool and fitness center were just perfect. My family enjoyed the restaurant food, the breakfast, and our dinners were perfect including when they’re delivered to our room, the lady was very pleasant.

the micro is very good for the family ,but the swimming pool is not enough clean

Friendly staff, great location. Room was clean. Bathrooms need updating and the pool definitely needs work (tiles missing, paint in pool needs fixing). Gym is great! Good hotel for family stay as it is near dining options and shopping.

On November 12,2022,Saturday early evening I went to the swimming pool to take a look.3 children told me that the temperature of swimming pool water is very cold.Later on I checked the water by myself. The swimming pool water is really very cold.The bottom of the shallow water area is not clean. At the shallow water area’s corner I can see some yellow rust. I am so disappointed with that terrible conditions.As soon as I arrived the swimming pool, the maintenance worker looks like follow me. I am not feel comfortable totally. I am so disappointed with that.After all the Childs and I found the swimming pool problem, I went to the front desk to complain the problem. At beginning the swimming pool maintenance worker told me that the water temperature is as same the room temperature. Actually I already know the room temperature is 73C.But I told the swimming pool worker several times that the pool water is very cold.Then he went somewhere else.After he came back , he told me the pool water is 87F.That’s not true.That is totally a joking.Either the machine is wrong, or somebody lie to us.All of us were so disappointed with that.The Hilton’s check out time is supposed to be noon 12:00.On November 13,2022, Sunday morning one cleaning worker use a vacuum so loudly near outside of room and the area of the fifth floor. At that time we all were sleeping. The very loud noise of the vacuum machine suddenly wake us up. The worker made huge noises for 20 mins on & off deliberately.

Decent hotel, nothing fancy or extra. For the price and you’d expect something to stand out but honestly the entire visit was dull. The room had dirty masks in it from prior visitors, shower felt dirty and old, I just felt the entire room was outdated and dark. I’d probably stay there again mostly because we are travelling for sick kids often and don’t have the funds for a more appropriate accommodation. Staff were very friendly and kind!

Location was excellent for a family event

Bright and clean room. Good size for family stay. Nothing compliant except the safe needs front desk to activate. Finally we did not use it.

Pay TV does not require a password, and young kids can enter directly. They didn't know that it would be charged. They changed different movies same as change TV channels. I was charged an extra $56 .

Overall, good facility & toiletries expected of a Hilton run hotel. However, this hotel does not have antiskid bathtub mat, when I requested. Other Hilton run hotel eg Double Tree had it on request. This hotel never had guest bathtub accidents? and was never anticipating one?
