The staff at this location of the Courtyard Marriott are exceptional. Myself and multiple family members stayed here and we were treated with the most amazing level of customer service. It was such a pleasure being there and words can not express our immense gratitude for the great service we received.

I had attempted robbery on my vehicle in the hotel, in the back garage of the hotel. The glass was shattered into pieces, and greasy dirt was all over the driver's seat. Someone had attempted to rob the vehicle, but, for unknown reasons, wasn’t able to. Nothing was taken from the car even though we had a few inexpensive items in there. We immediately filed a police report and had to take the car to the dealership to fix the window as we obviously could not drive it in rainy weather. I drove from Ottawa to Toronto for a short family vacation, and we had friends and family we wanted to see. We of course at this incident weren’t able to. I wasn’t able to sleep for two nights because we were worried that they’d come back or even follow us. After speaking with one of the managers I was told that it had happened many times before so this was normal. If that is the case I am puzzled that such a well-known establishment and choice of hotels doesn’t do enough to protect its customers by adding more Security Surveillance cameras and controlling the entrance with a barricaded gate with card readers.

I like that there was plenty of space to park. I wished breakfast was included. I have a little one and it will make my morning less stessful. The fridge was small, I couldn't fit my leftover meals and my child's milk. Rooms need more garbage bins. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean.

The room was smaller than expected but was clean. Unfortunately no microwave which was odd. The person in the next room had a small child (toddler) and the parent's allowed them to bang on the connecting door which as a parent ourselves we understand traveling with kids is unpredictable. That doesn't mean screaming non stop at the child will fix things. We asked them twice to attempt to bring their volume down and it just kept getting worse. My husband went downstairs to let the front desk know and they apologized but no action. Upon checking out we explained our disappointment and then were offered a bottle of water or snacks for the inconvenience. More should have been done since it wasn't a cheap hotel. Thank you for the opportunity to explain our frustration.

The staff was professional, courteous and helpful. The location is near public transit within Scarborough. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was nice and soft. The gym was good it meets my needs but some may think it needs more cardio and nautilus machines. There were 2 issues, the signal on the TV was weak at times and the internet was slow at times. The other issue was the noise from the next door, you could hear the kids through the connecting doors, lucky the noise ended at 11pm but started again at 8am in the morning. I guess there was a sport tournament on that particular weekend and the hotel was with kids. Overall it was good stay as I wanted a clean room and nice showers.

Before getting into swimming pool with my child, I have called the hotel staff three times to request for towels. There was no clean towel at all when we got to the swimming pool. Also the temperature of the pool was extremely cold. This hotel (or inn) provided the poorest service among all the hotels (and inns) that we have visited.
