Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel

This property is a good location for us. Not too far from family in Vancouver and we like shopping at Guildford Town Center.

Friendly staff at check in, very well maintained hotel, clean room and a comfortable bed. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the area. My kids loved the pool and I appreciated the fitness facility.

Great Hotel for family to stay at. A bit on the expensive side. For the price, parking should have been free.

We were there for a wedding and we were very pleased about our stay except for the few selection of food in their buffet restaurant. They can improve it a bit for the amount they charge. But other than that, it was excellent. From the location of the hotel (it’s near restaurants shops and mall) to the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will stay here again when we get a chance.

The 7th floor had a nice view and it was a very good hotel for families.

My floor was very noisy as result of constant doors opening and closing, knocking on doors, people visiting each other’s rooms and children playing in the hall. They could have been immigrants which I have nothing against but they were in all of the rooms on my floor. The check in desk should have known and should have placed me elsewhere. There was hardly anyone in the hotel so I’m sure there were many vacant rooms.

I never complain but this hotel was horrible, floor full of réfugiés guest, I am not agains anyone but when you pay more then cad340 a night and you can even use the pool with your kids, full of dirty towel arround, work were on too,frame broken, unpleasant smell in corridors and rooms, more than 7/8 min to wait for the elevator…. I have picture of everything that I will post to trip advisor and to the Marriott head office . However I am désappointés with Expedia miss guiding me and my family knowing how much I use your site…

The room was great. Elevators were terribly slow! The “heated” swimming pool was colder than expected, hot tub was cooler than expected. Like that there was an hour at end of day to attend pool without kids. Good gym although didn’t use equipment. Pleasant staff at hotel desk. Didn’t use room service. Restaurant in lobby was unclear if was available so never used.

Two day visit to Surrey to visit family. Clean, quiet, comfortable spacious room. Very comfortable bed!

This could be a long list: Pro - Large room with good seating area Con - outdated and poor condition furnishings Pro - In hotel bar and restaurant with room service Con - Portions are very expensive and very small Pro - lots of exercise equipment (didn't use pool but they have it) Con - no instructions for any of the equipment (have no idea what one machine even does) Pro - must use key card for elevators Con - key card takes several attempts in elevator and it moves very slowly (had 3 guests in elevator at one point, took all 3 of us trying our key card before one worked) Pro - cost was comparable to other places I have stayed at this particular time - usually costs more here. Con - pay parking $15/day which makes it no longer comparable to others (even people visiting me had to pay for parking) Pro - spent one evening in the hotel bar which was quiet and comfortable Con - Drinks were very expensive. Overall, I enjoyed it but would probably prefer to spend less at the usual hotel (place I have stayed before - no names) which is usually cheaper per night, has no pay parking and a bar next door. I visit family twice a year and it could get expensive staying here.
