We’re there for 3 days. Hot tub and water slides out of service. Staff said contractor was working to have repaired! Never saw anyone at any time working on it. I would have never booked the hotel if I new these weren’t functional. I travelled with little kids 2 hours and they were very disappointed. I will never book with them again and Expedia should have gave customers a heads up! Other people also voiced there disappointment to me when we were chatting around the pool deck.

They never cleaned the room and didnt let us extend our checkout for our child cause he’s autistic

We booked for 3 days while we were visiting Kelowna. The staffs was great and friendly. The room had a damp and musky smell as we enter. The room was clean and look great. The bathroom was clean but the toilet was a bit small. I’m 5’9 which isn’t very tall but the toilet is about 1 foot high and not very spacious. Our kids did enjoy the pool but we also found a nail at the bottom of the pool and my youngest also received a cut from it. I did notify the receptionist at the front desk and hope the pass that along.

We were very disappointed to discover the water slides were out of order, that is the sole reason we chose to stay here. Saw a few other disappointed kids too.

I stayed at the property with my family for 3 nights. The room We were given was insect infested! There were ants, spiders, mosquitoes and even a bug on the bed. Housekeeping service was nonexistent during our stay. Breakfast is standard and same every day. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

First of all, Expedia doesn’t have any information about the property which is a true shame. We booked the hotel for our little kids to enjoy the pool, but when we got to the property, the pool wasn’t working, whose fault is that? Second, they gave us a crappy room in the first floor, smelly and had all sorts of problem, had to fight to change the room! Even with the upgrade room, it was a total disaster, please ask me for pictures, I have taken pictures of the property, it’s bad, very bad! Neither us nor our kids enjoyed the stay, but thanks to you guys, we were not able to cancel it, so we had to suck it up :( can I get my refund? Can I get anything?

I was travelling with young kids and the reason I picked this hotel is for the pool and waterslide.  However, kids were extremely disappointed to learn that the pool is closed indefinitely. There were no information on the website stating that the pool facility is not available. Staff at check-in counter was terrible.  She told us that we can choose NOT to check-in.  It is Saturday and where would we stay if we don't check in? Breakfast is included, however, there are barely any selection. dried scramble eggs, coffee, cereals.  That's pretty much it.  The building and room décor desperately needs an update and the front desk staff really needs to be re-trained on how to make your guest welcome. I would not choose to stay at this hotel ever in the future.

The Hotel was ok at first until 8pm when my 3 year old slip and scrapped his back on a protruding bed frame, he was sore the whole stay.. When I asked reception to send maintanance to fix the issue but no one came, so we slept it off, I talked to the front desk in the morning to ask for a manager, No manager was available, so I spoke with the front desk and told her the issue with the protruding bedframe, she replied rigth away without looking at the issue and said there is nothing She can do with it as their bedframe is set up like that and all their bedframes are similar.. That is obviously not the case.. eventually I asked to tranfer me to another room which she agreed or send a maintenance guy to fox the bedframeIn my mind, Hotel’s First Priority is Safety, This hotel does not care if someone was hurt because of thier carelessness.. my 3 year old was in pain for the whole stay and ruin our vacation but that is something I can live with..  im afraid that some kid could trip and break their face or crack their head because “thats how their bedframe is set up”This property has no remose with the safety of their guest and will try to brush you off as best as they can.. This property should be transparent that their pool and hottubs has not been working for awhile

Although while booking the hotel the pics showed there was a pool , it was closed for the long weekend and kids were really upset about it. The temperature outside was 39C. They said they are offering free cancellations which meant I had look out for new hotel on long weekend in the heat. The room service didn't clean the room as there were short of staff. All in all bad experience.

We were force to get a hotel due to a blown tire traveling back to vacation. Sue and the other staff in KANATA  are just plain wonderful. So kind and so accommodating. The hotel is very clean. The rooms and furnishings are above average  at least. My family had a much needed rest after our incident. The only thing that we were looking forward to and was not available is the pool. It was under maintenance during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel. Easy access to almost everything and in the heart of the city of kelowna.

The waterslide was great for the kids, however the hit tub was out if service 

Pool was closed, hotel was primarily booked due to the amenities for kids, toilet bowl was dirty and bath tub drains very slowly.

So disappointed I was not informed the pool was broken. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere. Pretty expensive stay with children when there isn’t even a pool available.  Would not stay again.

Checkin staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was fun for the kids and has a couple slides. Only one was operational though. Good area with shopping and dining options around.

The property itself was ok, nothing special or glamorous. Fine for our family. the shower and washroom was outdated, needs a refresh. towels were a bit hard, so was toilet paper! other than that, breakfast was plentiful and kids enjoyed the waterslide (only one was open)

Close to the Main Street, restaurants, shopping and transportation. Lobby is very nice but per usual the rooms don’t match up. Lots of families, pool, noisy. No clean towels or room cleaning during my 4 night stay just removal of garbage bin and recycling. Probably standard but I was surprised. Good parking and breakfast on site.

Stayed in room 118, wouldn’t recommend this room if you like it quiet when you go to bed. There is a huge fan system right outside this room that runs all night. One slide in the pool area wasn’t working, so good thing there are two slides for the kids. Continental breakfast was decent and the  staff were pleasant.

Our stay here was enjoyed. The room was clean and the beds comfy. The location was great in town and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and well stocked breakfast each morning. The pool and hot tub are in need of cleaning, with a thick layer of scum around the water line and on the stairs. We spent a lot of time here with our young kids, and never saw anyone test the water or clean. The same bandaid was on the stairs of the slide for 5 days. So I am questioning the water quality now too. Our rooms shower head wouldn’t work properly because it was clogged up with scale and in desperate need of a deep clean. Seems the COVID sanitizing is taking priority though because that was well done. A nice stay for a nice price.

The property was in good shape for the price.  It's not a luxury hotel,  but i can't imagine complaining for the price.  It was clean and very similar to pictures.  The hot breakfast was good, especially with kids.  They had eggs, pancakes,  muffins,  cereal,  yogurt,  etc.

Although the room was clean and in good condition when we arrived, we did not recieve any housekeeping for the 4 nights we were there. We used the "housekeeping needed" placard on the door, as instructed, however staff did not tend to the room. Needless to say, after a family of 4 being in Kelowna for a football camp, staying in the hotel for 4 nights, our garbage and recycling piled up and we literally used every last kleenex and the last square of toilet paper. Also, over the weekend, there was a  number of softball teams staying at the hotel. Both weekend mornings, the breakfast bar had very long lineups because they ran out of food multiple times and could not keep up to the number of people eating. We ended up having to leave the property and purchse breakfast. I would not stay here again. Service was not as advertised.

The triple queen was brilliant. We were in and out of the hotel but the pool looked like it would have been fun for kids. Breakfast was as expected for a free breakfast. Will stay again if needed.

I booked this hotel for the may long weekend based on the good reviews it got on here. I’ll preface this by saying I don’t expect much from a 3* stay - just to be quiet and comfortable. When I arrived at 930PM the lobby was filled with people and children were prank calling the front desk non stop. The front desk lady was quite flustered (reasonably so). The breakfast area and lobby were filthy. Once I got into my room I was immediately hit by a stench I can only describe as rancid milk and old socks. It was only in the room too not the hallway. The door lock didn’t work. The room was quite dated and not clean. This hotel is right beside a major highway in Kelowna and it’s quite loud. Bring earplugs if you insist on staying here. There was children playing in the hallway at 10PM… I ended up leaving at 1030PM after having travelled all day, as the room was not clean and I couldn’t get over the smell. It just felt disgusting. This stay is 200$/night! I ended up finding a room at the holiday express across the street for the same price and it was CLEAN, comfortable and updated. I spent an hour the next morning trying to get a refund for at least the second night and it was like pulling teeth. The manager insisted her colleague checked the room after I left and it was clean. I’m sorry but did she really think I left at 1030PM after having been up since 330AM just for fun? She argued I didn’t give the chance for them to rectify the situation - no… why would I? The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was nice and accommodated an early check-in. The breakfast was good and had some variety. The location was close to the main mall and restaurants. The pool and waterslides are great for kids.

Staff are friendly, hot breakfast is very good, waterslide for kids is why we came but one was broken and not available. Requested to not be overlooking Canadian tire parking lot but they said they had no more rooms that overlooked Harvey. Came here before and had the same thing so that’s why we requested it. Other than that the kids were happy with the one working waterslide, breakfast and location is close to many restaurants.

I liked the location of the hotel, as there were restaurant choices nearby. The continental breakfast was convenient. And the waterslide was great for the kids entertainment.

Unfortunately when we got to the hotel the slides weren’t working. I called a couple days before to see if we had to book and if everything was in working order. Which it was but when we got there kids couldn’t go as we were told they aren’t working. We were all very disappointed ☹️ as that is why we booked at the hotel. Things happen. The beds were very uncomfortable and pillows too. We did not have a good sleep for two nights. But everyone at the hotel was quite nice!!

Perfect hotel for a family stay in Kelowna. Great pool with water slides for the kids and a buffet breakfast was a selling point for us. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Great central location nearby shopping and dining options.

Nice place to stay with a family. Kids enjoyed the pool and waterslides. Having a full hot breakfast available was fantastic. Room was clean. The hotel has to change our room as Expedia had over-sold the triple quuen room but we were upgraded to a suite which was spacious.

No issue, only complaint is that too crowded, for there’s a tournament going on . Wanted to use the hot tub , but too many people using it, plus too many kids. The room is quite though. I think there’s a good insulation, can’t hear any noise . Good breakfast also.

We had an excellent stay at the Kanata Kelowna Hotel in Kelowna.  Check in was a breeze and the hotel was very clean.  We approached the coffee station that was available 24/7.  Our room had lots space and we were able to access the pool three times during our stay. The breakfast in the morning had just the basics.  Our kids were disappointed there was no waffles or pancakes but they did have toast or bagels available.  We would definitely stay at the Kanata Hotel the next time we are in Kelowna.

The location was ideal, quiet, the hotel was safe and exceptionally clean. I felt like I was around family here. I would stay again no doubt!. They were kind, attentive and accommodating

My son absolutely loved the water slides.  I loved the set up of the pool area as well. I found staff were quick and courteous to our needs. The breakfast had everything anyone in the whole family could want.  This is our new Kelowna "spot" hands down for future trips.  Great value for a gorgeous place.

Good location near lots of restaurants. Lots of parking. Check in was simple.-breakfast was not good- we saw a pancake maker in the breakfast area on Fri night- Saturday morning it was gone. They only use it during the week? Disappointed kid who wanted pancakes. Breakfast options were disappointing; quite low quality. Room was comfortable but nothing special. Pool area was good. Probably would stay elsewhere next time.

The hotel staff were rude. They refused to accept cash as payment. When we got to our “clean” room there was an Advil on the floor that my baby found thankfully I got it before she ingested it. There was only a little bit of toilet paper let on the roll and no refill. Ran out at night called the front desk for more and was told I’d have to come get some myself. Never was able to get to the pool. Hated it!

I liked that our room had 3 queen beds in it, perfect for a family with 2 grown teenagers!

We have stayed here twice now, and find it a really great location with lots to do in the area!  The room was clean and we stayed nice and cool in the hot weather with the AC. Decent hot breakfast, a good sized pool with 2 slides for the kids and a hot tub.  Tons of parking and the staff is super friendly.  We will be back!

Great hotel for kids especially with the 2 waterslides. Perfect location as everything is walking distance to shops and restaurants. I received a free bottle of wine for being an Expedia VIP member.

we chose this Hotel because of the waterslide. However, after checking in our children were excited to go to the waterslide...the waterslide was closed and the only notice was at the hotel. the hotel refused to give us a refund. the young fellow at the front desk was very hostile (I expect because more guests complained)We were very disappointed.

The hotel was just average compared to other hotels we have experienced our stay in Kelowna. One of the key reasons we chose the hotel was that it had advertised the water slide which was closed during our stay. The hot tub was also out of service. The pool which was open was dirty and the water was very cold! The whole pool area seemed to be neglected! No one seemed to even working on fixing it. I saw some Yelp reviews after the fact and looks like it has been down for a while. The breakfast buffet had very limited options. Fruits only had apples- kelowna has access to so many local fruits- why only apples then? The eggs were mediocre. A lot of carb options with bread and bagels were available. Coffee was warm- not hot. The staff were friendly though and got the yoghurt for my son.The hotel lounge has water dispenser, but it was so difficult to pour water from that. It has a sign to press and hold- but you could press hard and hold till the cows came home to have a dribble of water come out. The hotel room itself had fridge that went from cool to turn liquid to ice. The room came with a single little shampoo/ conditioner and we were a family of 4. All the other hotels we have been to has more than a set of shampoo/ conditioner. The staff was friendly when we called for more towels. Overall, I wholeheartedly did not have a good experience with this booking and made me regret getting this place for our family vacation and would not recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with our family.  The hotel along with the rooms were quite clean.  They don't provide daily room service and you have to request it.  The breakfast was great and they had a good variety.  Unfortunately the slides and hot tub were closed which was a real bummer as our kids were looking forward to it.  They should have mentioned this before people book the hotel. Overall it is a nice hotel in a very centrally located part of Kelowna.

This place was totally fine.  Hotel was clean, staff friendly and there is lots of parking. Its not your Hyatt or Delta, its just a regular middle of the road hotel.  Was fine for me and my family.  Place was filled with other families too. Had a decent pool for the kids to have a rampage in.Had good wifi in the room for multiple devices.Lastly, the food. Well....its included and it was enough to fill a hole in your tooth as they say.  Although they did serve some food as hot, eggs and sausage patties, the rest was bread, cereal, muffins, toast, begals, pancakes.  Everything was fresh and stocked so you could fill your boots. Overall this place was fine...nothing fancy just a decent hotel with all the basics.

Chose this place cause it was simple location and the pool looked nice - but more so for the fact they had an indoor hot tub.  Our service was great, Cindy at front desk was phenomenal in assisting us when we arrived a bit early in town.Room was as expected on the top floor, the furniture had some crud on it, but the king bed was immaculate and super comfortable.  Bathroom was super nice but toilet paper was el cheapo (probably standard).We decided to go for a swim before dinner, and there was less than 10 people, mostly kids using the waterslide.. but then wayyyy more little kids showed up, no parents at all, splashing around in the hot tub, drinking the hot tub water, dunking their heads, and screaming.  We spent about 10 minutes in the hot tub until we couldn't take the noise and chaos anymore, and left the whole pool area hoping it might die down later in the evening.Spoiler alert:  It didn't.After dinner there was easily 20+ people, mostly kids (we like kids but ours are grown up) in the pool area & even more chaotic - so if you're a family - this place is surely fun and unrestrictive - except the Pool rules are tossed out the window, and if you're here to relax - good luck - and go some where else.We enjoyed our stay, but don't think we will be back cause we were just looking for a relaxing soak in a hot tub and can likely have a better experience elsewhere.One point to consider is that it was "Family Day" weekend in Kelowna, which may be why it was so busy.

The hotel was very busy but the staff handled it well. As a VIP member of Hotels.com, the free bottle of wine I received was greatly appreciated. The staff even held the pool open for an extra hour so my kids could enjoy as swim as the pool had been booked solid by dome hockey teams. That was very thoughtful and my kids had a blast.

This is a great hotel for a business days, but also has a pool for kids. Clean and modern, well priced. As a gold member I was upgraded to the executive floor.

The main reason why we booked the hotel was because of the pool and the slides in the pool. We stayed two nights in the hotel but was not able to use the pool until the last day. You need to book it in advance, and only limited number of people is allowed due to COVID limitations.We were able to use the pool in our last day of stay at the hotel. The pool doesn’t open until 10:00am. Meanwhile, we need to check out at 11:00 sharp. I called the reception and asked if we can check out at 11:30, so that the kids can have their showers in the room. This request was refused, because the room is booked for another customer, but check in time is not until 4pm.When we went to the pool, it turned out the slides are not available until 1pm because the guard doesn’t come before 1. The kids were very disappointed. I would expect the staff to give us all this information during check in and try to allow more time for the use of the slides. The guard is only there for couple of hours. Meanwhile, I had to stop at the reception and talked to one of the employees, who agreed that we checkout at 11:30.At 11:05 we received a call at the room from the reception asking us to leave the room. I told them that we were allowed to checkout at 11:30pm. It was like an interrogation. I had to tell who gave me this half an hour extension and was told that we have to leave exactly at 11:30. I have never seen something like this in any hotel I stairs at. I would expect more accommodation.

Great place for a family stay. Clean, nice, and the pool/waterslides were a hit. Super friendly staff!
