The room was decent. It was clean well appointed. The pool area was a significant issue. There was at least 1 teen boys hockey team and their trainer ran them thru an hour of in water stretches and therapy - at incredible volume. Other families left the pool area - some in tears - and it was a terrible hour of time. Not only were the kids extremely loud, they took over the entire area, it was not even possible nor even really safe for other kids in the pool, they blasted music from their speaker - and all under the supervision of one of their own adult coaches/trainers. Security was summoned but was unwilling to intervene reasonably. It was a significant stain on our stay.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We stayed with family who had rooms on different floors. We found them all very clean, comfortable, and had great views of the city. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The location was perfect for the things we planned to see and do while in Calgary.

Stayed 3 nights at 1025 the room next to subway station, can hear the train in & out; since unpacking we didn’t ask for change; the 3rd day morning we got rejected at Thompson for breakfast and asked to go 18F; we have to bring the kids up and noticed 18F already closed; have to call hotel again and told we can go Thompson for breakfast, we dine in for 1 hour there and all the other guests get in without issue we had. This is really upset.

The Room attendant Andrea....front desk staff. Didnt care for the extra elevator security (had to put my card on switch) every time you went on elevator...hard when there were multiple people. Hot tub was lovely but too many screaming kids in pool to relax.

We enjoyed our stay. My daughter mentioned that she was excited about the pool way up in the hotel instead of ground level at check in and while my wife was getting a bag cart the host moved us up closer to the pool so it would be quicker and the girls could have a view. It was appreciated by all. Food is always good at the restaurant and it opens right on to Steven ave where you can always have a good night out even with the little ones.

I booked this place for the pool access. I made multiple attempts to use the pool, but it was filled with kids screaming and people drinking beer. I called the front desk to see if they could leave the pool open for extra hour as through out the day, it has been super packed, but front desk were being so rude. They said it is what it is. Didn’t even attempt to apologize. The rooms were really dusty. I am never staying here again. Terrible experience.

The sheets are very loose and not duvet is roo small for thin for the size of the bed. The pool is wayy too shallow at 3dt 8in. We were a family of 4 and they only provided 3 towels. Front desk asked a person who is ahead of me in line if they needed help and when they said thehre already being helped walked away and ignored me and walked away. Not sure why. I was the only one left in line to check in.

Hyatt was great for a short extended layover. Great atmosphere in the center of a lively downtown with many food options, shopping, and entertainment nearby. We opted for the club access so we could enjoy a continental breakfast for our family of 4 and grab some snacks/water/drinks at our convenience. The pool/gym on the 18th floor was also great with the view. Would stay here again.
