This was our second stay at Brewsters, we previously visited in the winter, the reason we were happy to rebook is because it is a lovely property with friendly staff, clean with a nice breakfast included, we love the family vibe you get from the hotel. This time we had 2 deluxe doubles and I must admit the extra room was appreciated as a family of 6 adults, I don’t think this will be our last visit to Banff and we won’t hesitate to book Brewsters Mountain Lodge again

The hotel is right in the centre of Banff and everything you need is an easy walk.
It's a really interesting building with log-style furnishings and decorations. Owned by the family who built it - early an influential settlers in Banff.
Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was simple but had everything we wanted.
We would look forward to staying there again.

Unfortunately I was scolded by staff at the front desk while checking in. I was originally going with my son and booked a room two queen beds. My hubby and daughter decided to join us last minute, the staff member told me I had to pay an additional $40 per person which was fine. It was the first thing out of her mouth and telling me I did it wrong. If I had done it correctly, the higher price would have shown up. Very annoyed with me and very rude. I was kinda speechless. I have never had to call a hotel and change something unless I needed more beds or rooms. I did not appreciate it her discord for me. If I was trying to hide two people I would not have brought them into the tiny lobby with their luggage. She then told me we were not guaranteed to get in until four, that is our guaranteed time. I understood that as well. We stood by the fireplace, soaking wet and frozen while watching other families check in and get their keys. We did not feel welcome, Only when I mentioned placing a review to my son did she walk over with the keys. We also had some kids knick on our door and run after we settled down for the evening. And again early in the morning. I did not realize there was no air conditioning, but they had a large fan…my bad. The location was amazing but we will never stay there again.

Definitely not quiet. Was up all early morning during breakfast time from the foot traffic and people/kids talking going to the breakfast room. Sheets also had an old brown stain on them..

Hotel staff was wonderful. We were stuck on the road from Revelstoke to Banff and the hotel staff was sympathetic to our situation as I was travelling with two children. I asked for a half-day extension and was told the price, but at check out, they waived the fee!
We had a room facing the main street, so it was a little noisy, and my son had a bit of allergy (he is allergic to dust mites). But overall, It's a solid 4 stars experience, staff for sure 5 stars!

A wonderful and well-maintained lodge, conveniently located in the heart of the all the restaurants and shops. The guaranteed pre-paid hotel parking was worth every dollar. Even though we had a room that faced the alley, we still had an epic view of Mount Rundle. Everything in the room was clean and tidy. The complementary breakfast was good and coffee was actually decent! The only downside of our stay was noise - not from outside - but from the room next door. There's a reason ear plugs are provided on the night stand. In our case it was a young family with children that did not want to go to bed but you could still hear moderate conversation-level sound through the walls. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend Brewster Mountain Lodge.

This place charged too much for too little especially after we paid $514 a night, the price dropped to $370 a week after. Our room faced the ally with a building blocked all the view, garbage trucks would weak you up at 6am, live music would keep you up late and smelling BBQ and grease when we were on the balcony. No fridge in the room but they gave us one after asking. The coffee machine didn't work. The staff would come into our room even though we had do not disturb sign on. With all the fuss to come into our room and they forgot to clean the coffee pot! We had to clear our table after breakfast. Are you kidding me?! If I want to do that I would have gone to MacDonald's. The only credit I would give is the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

All the staff was very friendly & the lady who prepped breakfast everyday was lovely. The Brewster is a family ran hotel and has a neat history. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The price was within our budget too. We will definitely be back next time we visit Banff❤️ (only recommendation would be to have scrambled eggs included at breakfast). Thank you so much - see you next time!

What a lovely stay we had at Brewster's Mountain Lodge! As we were VIP, we were given a room with a balcony with preferred views and complementary chocolates. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in Banff. Not to mention the location, cannot beat it. Cannot wait to come back with family.
