I recently stayed at Potawatomi Hotel for three nights. The hotel offers easy parking, which was a plus, and the location was convenient with quick access to the freeway—perfect for visiting family. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was okay, but I was disappointed that there was no cleaning service during my stay. Check-in felt very transactional, lacking the warm and genuine welcome I would have expected. The front desk associate didn't bother to explain the hotel amenities or even point out the elevators, assuming I already knew where everything was. There was also a strange odor in the halls that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. The fridge in the room was empty, which was a bit inconvenient since I couldn’t grab a refreshment. As a Hotels.com member with a certain tier status, I usually receive perks during my stays, but I wasn’t informed of any during this visit. On the positive side, the hotel does offer convenient free self-parking and complimentary valet, and the rate was reasonable for a last-minute booking. However, overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I expected more in terms of service and hospitality.

The front desk staff was excellent. They really helped us with a situation we had. The junior suite was an outstanding room. I would recommend it for a romantic getaway for people looking for that. The bathroom is incredible, bed incredible. You would love this room.

The only thing I wish is there were more kid or family friendly amenities, like a pool, game room, arcade room, movie theater, etc.

We selected this property because it was the lowest priced. But it is definitely not a kid friendly hotel. Would not recommend for families. It was nice and clean. Staff was friendly enough. Would recommend for a fun place to stay if you like to gamble.

The staff is horribly inexperienced and honestly shouldn’t be in the hotel business - some just seemed lazy - best advice is keep asking for different people until you find someone that can actually help. We booked several rooms for our family trip. The hotel cancelled two rooms seemingly at random, one was for my elderly mother so I was embarrassed as she showed up with a cancelled room, and no two staff members ever gave the same explanation as to why. We finally found a staff member who was able to quickly and easily fix the issue after two previous staff members couldn’t or wouldn’t. The front desk directed me to one of their casino restaurants to order room service and the restaurant, after about 8 minutes on hold, said they don't offer it. Again, just inexperienced staff. Room wasn’t serviced daily - so you must have to specifically request fresh toiletries/towels/et each day. Room was new and very nice though with good views of the city! The staff ruined an otherwise great hotel experience.

Not family friendly. Nowhere on site to sit down and eat with family for dinner.

My family and I were very pleased with the cleanliness and speed of room service. We dont agree that a king size bed should be classified to sleep 3, but were glad we were provided a rollaway bed to address that.

Nice hotel, under renovation and some places that were closed off. Front desk was a bit slow. Only slot machines and limited table games available. No bingo, no poker room, no smoke shop, no spa. But comfortable beds, Decent food selection, and entertainment on site. Stay would have been better with a shuttle available to bring us directly to American family Field. Uber pricing was $50 at the end of the concert/game versus eight dollars before
