This hotel is so ghetto lol I cannot believe I paid the price I paid and yet it felt like a motel 8 plus. All the pics are of a spa downstairs that wasn’t even open when I came in the evening an hour after check in but said it will be the next day and to scan qr code in order to make an appt. I really doubt it’s ever used …and prices for the spa were ridiculous…the cheapest one was over $200. Anyway, the pool was nice but was divided into lanes for lap swimming…literally the whole pool. It was just depressing there…I stayed at the Westin prior to and even tho it was a little more (not by much) and more “upscale” compared to the olive, it had a waaaaay better family friendly vibe than this olive place. The olive is like trying to be a nice upscale property, but fails miserably with cheap plastic furniture and dirty elevators. It just gave a depressing vibe with all these little things piled up. Also, you can’t park your own car lol they don’t allow you to so you’re forced to pay valet or find your own parking somewhere else but it’s obvious how ghetto the area is so you’re basically forced to comply and pay an extra $60, $80 cuz of tips. Never staying there again…if you go to the annual Sakura convention, even tho this one is closer, I highly recommend the Westin instead. It was super fun and only a 10min walk

Of all the times I’ve traveled to Seattle for business or pleasure the Olive 8 hotel by far was the best! The central location was far enough from all the attractions that it was walkable, eliminating the need for a car. As you know the hills can be overwhelming but since it was located in the middle not trek was too down or up hill. Room was spacious and clean. The family love the view and amenities. Solid insulation so sound bleed from the neighbors. Over all very impressed and satisfied. Valet was easily accessible without waiting on the street like some other institutions around the area. Check in/out was fast and convenient.

The hotel only has valet parking and the cost is $50/day. I was told the “self serve” cheaper parking was available in another location, 1 block away. I have a disabled family member who requires a wheelchair. Given I had a manual wheelchair to push as well as our luggage, I had no other choice than to use the expensive valet parking. I would not stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was very unfriendly to young families. There were hidden fees, and we got gouged at every turn. There were amenities missing, billed for things in error, and corners cut (like 1 robe provided instead of 2 when it’s a two queen size room with 4 ppl). When calling the front desk you don’t initially get through to them and the person who answers didn’t know the answers relevant to the local hotel so you got passed around. This resulted in requests being mishandled. Overall, very disappointed and would not recommend.

This is always one of our favorite hotels to stay at as a family, while visiting Seattle. This visit was no exception! We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our visit by one day.

This Hyatt was nice but nothing what I expected. The pool and hot tub was ALWAYS full of kids, regardless of the time, so no peaceful time for adults, the restaurants were incredibly overpriced and the food wasn't anything to call home about, and very disappointed there was no tub in the room. Also, no transportation available, had to find our own, and very little info on activities, though the staff was nice to suggest some things. Probably won't stay here again.
