Comfort Suites At Virginia Center Commons

This was my second time staying here. It is a great place and has everything I need, including a decent breakfast, a pool for my kids, and comfortable beds, plus easy parking. I will continue to stay here when I travel to Richmond for work purposes.

Hotel was comfortable but with all the construction occurring nearby it seems to have a lot of workers staying there during the week. With that they were hanging out in the parking lot and leaving it quite messy and making my family alittle uncomfortable. Nice room but didnt have any tissues, sheets for the pull out bed and only half a roll of toilet paper left. Good location with plenty of close places to eat and shop

The stay at the facility was not friendly in no type of way what’s so ever rude and was very unpleasant the the air conditioning was not working to its full capacity and the room felt like a heat wave the reception was down right nasty this would be my last choice to stay when I do return the Virginia for a family vacation

Donald the manager was fantastic and helped us get a great room to accommodate our family of 5. Breakfast was great and everything was clean. Excellent experience.

All the staff were particularly friendly. Kids loved the pool, though it was very cool, and hot tub. We really liked the suite setup allowing the kids to go to bed while the adult could relax and watch some TV without disturbing them. However, I planned to utilize the pullout couch in the suite and found it unbearably uncomfortable. There was almost no padding covering the springs. Ended up closing it and sleeping on the narrow unopened couch.

My family of 6 stayed there. On our way home to MI, my 16 year old son tells me he left his wallet there. It had over $50 cash in it. I called the front desk and spoke to Wanda. Wanda was able to locate the wallet and get it back to me. Not $1 was missing out of it. Its not too often you find people honest that would do that, but Wanda did. So BIG thank you to Wanda for being honest and helping me so much.

Easy to find location convenient to shopping and the new sports convention center. Room was clean with plenty of space for a family of four.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. Arrive late to check in and the room didn’t have the pull out couch. Need due to being a family of 5. So they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom executive suite with livingroom. It was a great blessing and couldn’t have been happier with the room space and 2 bathrooms. Staff was amazing handling the situation.

Check in, the room, breakfast, the stay, and check out was very nice. The pool & hot tub were very nice and kept the kiddo happy. The only small item was the room did not feel like it got to the temperature we set it at...such as 65 degrees...it felt warmer, but that was a super little item as we stayed in October, when it was cooler outside. The shower had awesome pressure and the room was clean and quiet! We would book again.

The person that I perceived to be the manager was really nice. Check-in went smoothly. I did book 2 rooms and would have preferred to have them together but it wasn’t available. The continental breakfast didn’t really have any gluten free options at all. After people finished eating, there was no one to wipe the tables afterwards so I had to wipe someone else’s food up so my family could all sit together which was pretty gross. The kids enjoyed the pool area. The pool area is very small. There is also a small gym which is made to look larger by using mirrors. The gym consisted of 2 treadmills and an elliptical machine. The weight bench was broken and had a do not use sign on it. As a whole, the stay was ok for one night. Just a basic hotel. Intended to sleep and leave. Not really for a nice vacation stay.
