This hotel appeared to be much better than i expected. Our family of 4 stayed overnight on our trip from New York to Florida. It is pretty clean. Lobby area is small but very cute and cozy. Seems all common areas have been recently renovated. But room looked a bit outdated. However our suite was enough spacious and comfortable. It is good just to stay for a night or few. You should not expect resort type hotel service, of course. Receptionists were very nice. Breakfast was fine. Eggs and sausages were tasty. Kids were eager to make waffles but dough dispenser was not there while we arrived at 9.20 am. I asked the kitchen staff if we can make waffles and one not very friendly lady said the breakfast is over at 9.30 and was in rush to remove all other things. Anyway, i still put 4 stars, since price is great, and included parking and breakfast is great addition. Area seems enough safe but we didnt walk anywhere in vicinity.

Check in went great. We got our VIP drinks after spending the evening at Kings Dominion. Queen suite was spacious. Bed was a little hard, as I woke up with hip pain both mornings. Breakfast was decent, however on Saturday morning the lady working the area started cleaning up everything at 9:15 when breakfast was suppose to be available until 9:30. We were still trying to get our food and she was turning everything off and removing things. The kids loved the game room!

From check in to check out, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the Country Inn. We had a horrible experience with another hotel, a short distance away, and had to get ready for a wedding, but needed out of the other hotel ASAP. Sheila at the front desk went out of her way to make sure that we were taken care of, and got us checked in early so that we could shower and get ready. She was friendly, accommodating, and just a genuinely wonderful person. Our room was nice and clean. The breakfast area was amazing! I’ve stayed at many hotels and never have I seen a cleaner, self-serve breakfast station. You can tell that the owners and the staff take great pride in their facility and do a top-notch job of making you feel welcome. The main entrance, lobby area is very warm and inviting. The grand stairway is beautiful! The only area that we saw that could potentially use an update is not having USB plugs in the rooms for charging electronics. Obviously, this is not a big deal but we forgot a power brick. This is our new go to hotel anytime we will come back to Virginia to visit family.

Really great place, not far from the highway but not close enough to see or hear it. My family and I have stayed here a few times on our way from FL to ME. What we like is that the area around it feels safe. No foot traffic. It is nestled in a area that has new townhomes and tech office buildings. It is close to a WaWa and has the option if heading north to take the 310N over Delaware up to the New Jersey Turn Pike to avoid the D.C and Baltimore traffic. Wendy's next door. Fridge and Microwave in room. Quite rooms and friendly staff.
