The hotel itself isn't in bad shape it's just dated and has some of those 'older hotel' issues, like the door latch getting stuck Every. Single. Time. you open or shut the door, and just generally not as updated a comparable hotels in the area. It's in a good location, and parking is included which is great. Has a shuttle to get to the metro/ pentagon city. My only big issue was the kid at the front desk really didn't know what was going on.

Our family had the best sleep ever on your mattresses. We are in the market for new ones and would like to know the brand name of those you use. Please send email to judychristensen21@gmail.com

I had to changed my room twice because there was no cold water. Piping hot water came out of the cold facet.
Hotel blame the city for turning off their water and not able to figure out what was the cause. Free transportation is as reliable as your broke ass baby daddy with child support. Sometimes there but most likely late. Restaurant within the hotel is overpriced and incompetent making plain pasta. They felt to add the garnish of burnt garlic—would not recommend.

The check in staff failed to mention that our children's breakfast was not included. This meant we weren't able to make an informed decision on our dining needs. So we could dine for $8 each, or children would be charged $23 dollars for the buffet. We booked our rooms disclosing our children's age and only 2 adult breakfast supposedly is included with the reservation. The check in person made it very clear about cost for parking. This was a massive oversight and we had a terrible morning. The staff at reception then provided a breakfast coupon for our children.
The website and those of your subsidiaries should give options for children's breakfast if kids can't stay and eat free.
The room was average. The shower gel was out, I checked in at 10pm and didn't have the energy to phone room service. There were no bags inside of the 3 trash cans available. Makes me think there room service providers are either sloopy fl or over worked.
Would I stay again, definitely not, some of the better value hotels around the area have much better amenities and decor is updated.
Can some also debunk why kids stay free under 12, but kids eat free under 5 at this establishment?

The reason for my stay was to attend a funeral of a family member.I chose the Sheriton because it is close to Arlington National Cemetary. The reasons I did not give the hotel a 5 star rating are as follows. The promised airport shuttle never arrived, even though the clerk assured our party they did pick ups twice an hour. We ended up taking an Uber and upon our arrival, saw said shuttle parked in a fenced in lot on the property. The property was also oddly located in a older residential neighborhood with no businesses or restaurants located near by. At check in, the Clerk neglected to give us our breakfast coupons or explain the code for the internet. We were just kind of pointed to the elevators. Granted we had been traveling all and did not look our best, however, the fact our reservations were prepaid should have been thier first clue we were not riffraff off the street.I thought the hotel was a little bit pricey and did not offer a lot of ameneties. I paid extra for breakfast bar, and a room with a view. On a positive note, the apperance of the interior of the hotel was nice and seemed to be well kept. The room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping came everyday and kept the room well stocked. The restaurant was ok, the service was attentive, the breakfast bar was good. the conveinience shop was well stocked but expensive. It cost a member of my party $15.00 for a bottle of tylenol. The view from the room was nice. Not sure I really got my moneys worth.

We stayed at the Sheraton Pentagon City for a night. The next door was blasting music past midnight and the walls were paper thin. Requested the Front Desk to notify the occupant to be quiet the first time but didn't bother to shut the music. I called the Front the 2nd time, but the attendant decided to ignore my repeated calls so I had to go to the Front Desk myself to find the attendant playing on the phone. After telling me a lame excuse, he called security who finally helped to silence the party music. Overall, it is not a family-friendly hotel.

We were not allowed a room assignment until we arrived. After traveling thousands of miles not only were we not given rooms on the same floor, but were actually put in separate buildings. The vending machines were empty the entire stay.
The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, however there were no microwaves except one in the lobby which we didn’t discover until the day before we left. They appear to cater to large groups as opposed to the individual families.
