Our room was equipped with a kitchenette, beds were very comfortable and our room was very close to the bike and rec path! Our children loved it!

We stayed at the gray fox inn a Saturday to a Tuesday in February during ski season. Obviously the purpose of our trip was to take advantage of skiing Stowe. Our family consisted of a married couple a mother-in-law in two teenage sons. We were very comfortable in two double queen efficiency rooms in the mountain view building. We had rooms 30 and 32. Both rooms were very clean, large enough for our purposes and comfortable. We took advantage of the shuttle to the mountain every day we were there. The stop was about 50 to 75 yards away from the hotel driveway so not bad at all. The shuttles run continuously in ski season and we never had more than about a 15 minute wait except for the time where we saw the shuttle going past as we were walking out of the room. Probably waited about 20-25 minutes for the next one on a Monday. I think they run more on the weekend. My wife and mother-in-law who were not skiing with us found the town of Stowe very charming, plenty of places to eat. Grab a beer or shop. Things that could use improvement There was a bit of water damage around the edges of the tub where the drywall had been wet. Nothing crazy, but if this is not addressed soon it will likely deteriorate be very unsightly. Our boys really enjoyed the pool and the foosball table, unfortunately, the hot tub was out of service during the time of our stay. The clerk said it had been recently vandalized. The kids still had a blast playing in the pool.

Loved it all. Wish jacuzzi tub was hotter and jets worked. Maybe a time requirement for families so everyone has an opportunity to use the facilities.

Great location for the Stowe area. Friendly staff. Comfortable room and cozy lobby for gathering with other guests. Plenty of fluffy towels replenished each day. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Overall a good economical alternative to staying on Stowe resort property. Suite was a good size for families. Hot tub was out of order first day and did not really warm up for 2 days. Free wifi was available but very slow. Also restaurant/bar was not open during out stay. Not quite as advertised.

The style of rooms are great - there is a separate living to help if you have children. The indoor pool with hot tub is perfect if the weather isn’t great, meanwhile the outdoor pool is amazing if it is! Walking distance to town, restaurants, breweries, the walking path, mini golf, bowling and more!

Cons: Mobile key feature did not work properly. Shower head was partially broken. Extremely loud on second floor. Footsteps and running can be heard easily through ceiling. Families with young children should be placed in first floor rooms to avoid this issue. Housekeeping ONLY available at request. Guests should be made aware of this at check in. Pros: Parking and property facilities close and convenient. Nearby trail for walking. Shops and restaurants close, and most within walking distance.

The property has plenty of room (large patio, separate outdoor pool area with ample sun and shade, observation deck with a lovely mountain view, and a huge backyard where families play ball/frisbee/etc. or just sit and enjoy the surrounding nature (there are adirondack chairs galore), plus the indoor pool with hottub and sauna!). Steps off the backyard is access to a great "rec path" for a walk/jog/bike ride along the river and through the park-like woods. Our room was in great shape (recent work done?) with attentive climate-control, lots of dimmable lighting, and that great, big tub with jets and a double-showerhead that was heavenly!
