Staybridge Suites Lehi - Traverse Ridge Center, an IHG Hotel

Traverse Mountain has a unique layout that feels adventurous and luxurious. We struggled with getting the staff to attend to needs that we asked a couple times for and never received. When other families abused the pool/spa the staff looked the other way, taking away from a good experience for other guests. The first time I called to ask if we could get a few more towels for our room, the front desk sounded very annoyed and put out as soon as they answered. Parking was very full, using elevators took awhile as the hotel must have been at full capacity. Not a great experience, unfortunately.

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for the whole family.

A great property, love the privacy of our room and then our kids stayed in the living area. Breakfast was really good.

We got to the hotel at 9:30 pm to check in. The night manager was talking to some kids on the other side of the counter about Marvel movies and they were eating cake together. There was a new hire that was helping me. She took my credit card for incidentals and charged my card a second time for the 3 nights we were staying. We had already paid online with Expedia. I was told that the issue would be taken care of in the morning with the day manager Justin. We got to the room and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the shower that we had to clean up. At this point I was ready to leave and go to another hotel. We stayed. The 2nd morning we were there we tried to go get breakfast at about 9:12 in the morning. I knew they were closing at 9:30, so I didn't think this would be a problem. Half of breakfast was already torn down. Old disgusting yogurt left out, utensils to serve the sausage and bacon were gone forcing us to use our hands, and the waffle batter was gone while the irons were still on hot and ready to use. We ate a small amount of eggs, some bacon and sausage and some old stale cold breakfast potatoes. I don't think we will be staying at Staybridge again. We travel to the Lehi area often from the Uintah Basin and we will be looking for other lodging.

Hotel felt old for as new as it was. The bottles of shampoo and conditioner were empty and attached to the wall. And there was no bedding for the pull out bed for the kids.

Will for sure stay here again. Very comfortable suites! Nice beds, loved the little kitchenette. Nice large bathroom. Staff was fantastic. So helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was nice as well. Lots of options hot and cold. They have free laundry services which we ended up using as well. Only sad thing was that the pool was closed because they were waiting on a part for the filtration system so my kids couldn’t swim. But they offer to cancel our reservation free of charge because of it. They were absolutely wonderful.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice and seemed very clean. Our son used the pull out sofa bed and it was fully stripped with fresh linens in the closet. We did have to call down for a blanket which may have been an oversight so that was no issue. The water pressure in the shower was great for a hotel and the bed was really comfortable. Having a small kitchen was wonderful. The staff was all very young which isn’t surprising due to the proximity to the college but they seemed to be uninterested in accommodating guests than chatting with each other. When we arrived, I had clearly stated on our reservation we had a toddler and mentioned it again while checking in. We were however placed in an accessible room with only a shower and no bathtub. We made due as we were only there two days but had the stay been longer, we would have requested a different room. I asked at breakfast if they had boxes to take some food up for my husband and they said they didn’t have any which is perfectly acceptable until I saw multiple people with them which was frustrating. The website stated the pool was heated, it was not and that was disappointing as my son was excited to swim. I have also not received the release of the security deposit which is frustrating as our stay was a week ago. I was overall satisfied with our stay, just a few small kinks to work out.

I was annoyed that the wifi wouldn’t stay connected. Anytime I locked my phone and reopened it the wifi would be disconnected. I also could never steam from my device onto the tv as it indicated I could. I also didn’t like having to go down to the lobby at 8:30pm with my sleeping toddler to renter my card because when I checked in the system apparently didn’t register it. That should have been caught at check in and I shouldn’t have had to wake up my toddler to fix the check in person overlook.
