Everything was clean and nice in the room. Parking was a misunderstanding, because they do not own the parking structure. But worked out ok. No towels available at pool. My husband alerted front desk, but by the time we were ready to leave, there were still no towels. Several people were at the pool, a few families and no towels. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed there in August and had a pleasant experience; although, this time around the customer service and the maintenance of the room was terrible! At check-in I asked the front desk clerk if sports teams were staying at the hotel to better understand the type of clientele the hotel. His response was poor, by telling me not to book next weekend because it was going to be bad… (I was learning not asking for an unprofessional opinion). The room was poorly maintained, the wall paper was coming off the bathroom wall, the toilet seat is very loose, and there’s black scuffs on the gray walls. It’s apparent the room needs paint touch ups. The housekeepers didn’t greet me once after I greeted them in English and Spanish. The bartender was very busy on Saturday around 5:30 or 6pm didn’t have anyone to help him, but I saw another restaurant employee standing at the podium staring doing nothing with only one client sitting in the restaurant. I came down stairs at 2am to buy Tylenol and the front desk clerk seemed to have an attitude, didn’t greet me back after saying good morning to her. She asked me for my room number to charge it to the room and didn’t ask for my last name to verify if I was the person staying in that room. This leads me to believe anyone could make charges to random rooms. My family and I were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. She wore a birthday ribbon, but none acknowledged her. I paid over $300 for one night and this was a poor experience!

Great stay! Wonderful full, hot breakfast that had something for the whole family to enjoy. Nice pool thought could have been a bit cleaner. Would stay again if back in the area.

We booked this stay because we had tickets to a concert at the Pavillion. The suite was perfect for our family of 4 and the breakfast that was included was awesome! There were so many choices and the food was great. The kids loved the pool and the property was very quiet and clean. The next day we rode the Trolly that came right to the hotel. It was so convenient.

The hotel was nice enough. We had a suite, with a small living room area and a bedroom.
The bad:
1.The bedroom smelled like a boys locker room, which was overwhelming every time we walked into it. I imagine it's the dingy carpet, but even the pillows smelled a bit like B.O. after stitting in that space.
2. The swimming pool was beautiful, but even at the start of September, when you'd have thought the water would still be hot from the summer, it was freezing. Like worried-about-my-kid-getting-sick kind of freezing. I never understand when hotels don't regulate their pool temps.
3. And no spa. Downer.
4. Parking is $22/night. This is not a busy space in The Woodlands, so parking should most definitely be plentiful and free.
The good:
1. We did really like walking around the lake and all of the close restaurants and a Starbucks. That was lovely.
2. The property was pet friendly, although quite pricey at $150 non-refundable pet fee. Ridiculous. I guess this one could easily fit into the bad category, as well.
3. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was free, cooked to order, and served until 11 on the weekends.
4. Proximity to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion was super close, but not so close that it made getting back to the hotel a bad experience. That was a huge plus!
Would we stay here again? Maybe. But I'd probably look to see if there was anything else available first.
