Best Western Giddings Inn & Suites

I choose this Hotel because of my past experience. I have always enjoyed my stay at this facility. However, I think management has changed and the change is not good. 1. This is what you call small town price gouging. The room was $175.00 per night???? 2. The facility is clean. However, the staff needs to be trained in Customer Service. Upon arrival the front doors were locked. I thought this was unusual because it was around 4pm-5pm. When staff finally came to the door we were not greeted with a smile, hello or a welcome. The only thing the staff mumbled was "I need your ID and CC" as they turned and walked away. After checking us in without any conversation she stated checkout was at 11am and hands me the key. 3. Breakfast was nasty and so was the staff. I have stayed here in the past and breakfast was one of the activities I enjoyed during my stay. I come here for our annual Family Reunion where other family members stay. We normally run into each other at breakfast and we laugh, talk and enjoy our breakfast before starting the Reunion activities. Not this time because my family decided they would not patronize this establishment for their poor customer service. Dining room doesn't feel inviting anymore. They want you to eat and leave as fast as you can. 4. I'm not sure if management has changed but I will never stay at this Hotel again.!!!!!!
