Hotel Magdalena

The perfect this hotel was such a perfect way to be a tourist in our town. A perfect getaway before the start of the school year where we were able to pretend we didn't have kids! The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is delicious. Problem is, the staff is very stretched and as a result, service suffers both by the pool and in the restaurant. Aside from that, everything was fantastic!

In my opinion the hotel is great for young couples or for people travelling without kids, even though we did not have any issues with our daughter the hotel feels like more for adults rather than kids... I'm not too sure about travelling with kids to this hotel (my daughter and another toddler were the only ones in the entire hotel)…The vibe is great and the decoration and architectural features are really nice.. The Hotel in general is really nice and authentic, the room we stayed in had some issues with the bathroom door making it unable to close it completely, the 2 lamps on the nightstands did never turn on and there was zero storage cabinets or shelves to keep your clothes out of the luggage, the noise from outside starts pretty early at around 7am so be prepare to be awake by 7am...Other than those issues we had a great family time in this hotel. We also brought our 2 dogs and everyone was really nice with them (they even have some food menu for dog at the restaurant). We celebrated 4th of July in the pool as the hotel hosted an event with a band and BBQ for free for all hotel guests.
