It was horrible. I planned this Minnie vacation months ago to enjoy some sibling fun. I was excited about the stay. Check was fine until I was ready to key in my room. My family was posted outside the room in the hallway for about 15 because we couldn’t get into the room. The door kept flashing red. I called down stairs and was told I my phone was the key. I became frustrated and didn’t understand what needed to be done. So I went down stairs and was given another key. Went back upstairs (8th floor) tried to get in the room. Key still didn’t work. My sister got frustrated of sitting on the floor in the hallway. Went downstairs to speak to a manager that was not there. She traveled 41/2 hours for this stay. We were told the door was broken and we could wait until it got fixed. We asked for another room and it was granted; however the room had a stinky smell to it. Tried to warm up our food but the microwave didn’t work. They had to bring in a replacement. The hotel accommodated 6 people. However my nephew had to sleep on the floor because our request for a roll away bed was denied. My sister almost slipped in the shower. There was a note saying the shower is slippery. You can call the front desk for a mat which should have been placed in the shower from the start. The day of checkout which is at 11am.; housekeeping just opened my door and proceeded to enter. My family was still in bed and I was standing there in my nightie. The scooters were the hi light of our weekend. Thanks

Pros: Great location, large suite rooms with a kitchenette. Cons: the hotel is next to several bars and music venues that play music until 12-1am. You can hear it in the rooms, even with white noise blasting from a portable speaker. This is not a great hotel for kids as a result. But, if you are going out and not wanting to sleep before 1am, this could be the place for you!

$45 parking per day and $100 deposit was not told about it. They refused to refund or cancel my reservation. The pool is a small trashy spot with yellow pool towels, gave a urine vibe. Flies in the breakfast muffin case!! Absolutely the nastiest place. This was an anniversary trip. Worst map directions ever. People parked in the construction zones to avoid TRAPPED fee for parking. Would never return to stay in Austin. Completely overrated! God do not bring your kids.

In general very good for family trips. although AC at the rooms was very noisy. One downside is that the property faces the freeway on one side and a back alley on the other, once passed that the neighborhood is nice but a lot of construction going on

Room was clean, and the breakfast downstairs was delicious! Front desk always has a line/wait but nothing over 10 mins. I took a trip with kids and was looking forward to going to pool but it was more of an adult pool starting at 3 1/2 ft. So not very toddler friendly. I do want to return without kids because the location has a lot of walking distance bars to explore!

This hotel was great! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was perfect for our family, everything was clean and very nice. The pool area is beautiful and my kids loved it. This may be one of my favorites! The nightlight in the bathroom...genius!

There's construction on either side of the front/garage of the hotel right now, so if you miss it DON'T TURN LEFT! You think that you'll go around, and you will but not without half of Austin partying on the next street. Taking forever to get back and then we got to our room and could hear the partying from a street over and it was hard to put to bed our child (and us to go to sleep) without hearing and feeling the bass on all 3 nights of being there. The rest of the time and place it was nice, clean, kind people.

Just a heads up with parking - the facility does have on site parking for about 35-45 a night. Keep that in mind . Aside from that everything was pretty good, the pool on the rooftop was neat but my kids complained of the smell. Not sure what kind of pool it is but it was surely different.
