The room was very clean, my only issue was a kids underwear that was randomly left by a previous guest. There was one cricket but they had warnings about this seasonal issue. Staff was very friendly. Pool was nice but a tad warm for this hot weather. Food was satisfactory. Coffee was great! We would definitely come back, great location and plenty of parking.

While checking in, one staff member yelled at another staff member very ugly and talked downed to him. Which made me feel uncomfortable for him and I thought that was unprofessional of her to do. Disappointed by their lack of amenities. The double beds felt more like twin beds. My husband and I are small and it was a snug fit. If you are bigger than 5’2 get the king size rooms. Breakfast is extremely short. They put everything up sharply at 9 am. So be up quick if you want the continental breakfast. Also, it was so dark and dim in breakfast area. Depressing. I was very annoyed that they don’t actually have balconies. Online photos are deceiving, and give the illusion you get to enjoy a small balcony. Nope. Windows don’t open and balconies are fake. They had a big issue with crickets which they apologize for, but strange that my family staying at other hotels same days we did didn’t have any crickets. Pros: room was clean and my children enjoyed the big pool.

Book your stay here now. This place was clean, friendly, accommodating, a very short drive to downtown, great free breakfast that had everything from biscuits & gravy to a waffle iron, pool & hot tub area very clean and updated, loved the outside facing room, barely heard a sound all night, bar was great if you need a night cap, perfect king suite for a family kiddos, 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Would absolutely book again.

The hotel room smelled a tad musty when we first walked in- but that dissipated. The staff were nice and welcoming and called shortly after our check in to see if the room was OK for us. The decor is very dark and the lighting everywhere was very dim. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The breakfast bar was pretty extensive. There were lots of families with children.

The staff were nice. Location was good just south of downtown. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. However, I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. I was with family that has mobility issue but not in a wheelchair. I was offered an accessible room which I declined because it was almost $100 extra. I don't know if that is the norm but doesn't seem fair to charge someone so much extra for legally required accommodations. Also, the paths between building was difficult. The breakfast area had no ramp entrance from the inside. Stairs were easily accessible right from the lobby but someone with mobility issues has to go outside for the ramp and go around the building. It was a significant distance and unpleasant with the pouring rain. Just having any ramp should not be enough to be deemed legally compliant. I would stay there again if by myself but definitely not if with family again.

This location was great for us on a family vacation. It was easy to get to all different parts of Austin, close to downtown and sites south of town. The included breakfast was one of the best we've ever had! Many options. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool looked nice but too cold for us in December. We would definitely stay here again. We did have issue with someone on the floor above us stomping around late in the night, in the middle of the night, and early morning. You could hear it very loud in our room, I'm not sure what was going on up there. Only other downside to our room was the beds were doubles and we would have preferred queen size. But overall it was a really great place.
