Courtyard by Marriott Memphis East/Park Avenue

I was really happy with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hotel clean, room clean, and my room was located close to the pool. Wonderful location near all the sites and restaurants. I will tell family and friends and will stay again. Thanks.

Hotels.com gave this place a 9 out of 10 rating! My kids and I give the dilapidated building and poor layout a 3 out of 10.

Unfortunately for my family and I it was not the stay we expected. My brother in law was given the wrong room which was corrected by front desk so we thought no bid deal, but then both of our rooms were dirty and had either dirty clothes left behind, liters and even empty condom boxes. It was just not clean and in total we changed rooms twice and my brother in law changed rooms 3 times in total. Once we were finally settled there was no sheets, pillows or blankets for the pull out sofa and when we called to have some brought up the guy only brought one sheet. Nothing else. After a long day with the kids it just was tiring and frustrating. The lady at front desk did her best to help and accommodate, but overall it just was not a good experience at all.
