Great hotel with a home town feel. The staff makes you feel like family and that makes up for the place being a little dated. We will be coming back.

05/31/24 to 06/02/24 - We had a fabulous time here at Norma Dan Motel for the education week by Ripley's. From the time we checked in to Norma Dan to our housekeeper name "Brenda" and the breakfast host - All the staff aiming to please.
Our room a N/S Handicap king was very spacious, The king size bed was really comfortable, just wish there was a comforter in the room; but upon checking in the room was kept cool as we walk in after a 300 mile drive from Cincinnati. Between the indoor pool and hot-tub and the outdoor swimming pool they both were a delight. The breakfast buffet was really good except for the Orange Juice that was sour and tangy both mornings we were their. I kinda wish they had Krispy Kreme donuts like they use to a few years ago under different management; but they had dam good coffee, banana nut muffins, bagels, toast, English muffins, (3) types of cereal, Yogurt, hard boiled eggs & awesome pancakes and waffles. The hotel facility was super clean and all the staff were aiming to please. This hotel is definitely family friendly and I give this place (4) Stars. On our stay their we spotted some black bear cubs behind the motel by the dumpster, but were wondering where Momma bear was? Overall a great stay for a great price, will definitely be back in the Summer. Many thanks to all the Norma-Dan Staff for their hospitality and Great Attitudes....

The Staff was very friendly and inviting. They made the check in process the best I have had in a long time. The pools were good, the children enjoyed them a lot. There were some people on site late that were arguing that was a little concerning. The continental breakfast was nice and the older lady that was there to help and greet made it even more enjoyable. I would stay again.

I would highly recommend Norma Dan's as a Pleasent Budget Friendly place to stay in Pigeon Forge. It is a great little piece of Smokey Mountain history. Although alittle outdated, it is a wonderfully maintained property run by people that make you feel like family! Any reasonable request or question is met and/or answered with a smile!
I will definitely be returning there in the future!

This is honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. The two biggest things I always look at in hotels are cleanliness and friendliness/professionalism of the staff. This motel checked off both of those boxes well. It felt family owned and operated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even let us check in a little early and allowed us to wait in the lobby while they finished getting the room ready. The rooms were a little dated, and the shower handle was hard to use. However, the rooms were well maintained and clean. The beds and pillows left a little to be desired, but that is most hotels. They did serve a variety of things at breakfast, which was nice. Their little snack bar in the lobby was also very convenient and had a variety of things to purchase. It definitely saved us when we went to the Smokey Mountains National Park. The hotel was right on the main strip, so there is some traffic noise, but I'm used to that. It was also very close to Dollywood and the other places we wanted to visit.
