Hilton Garden Inn Rapid City

This place was great! Everything you need all in one location! Only thing that could have been a little better was the bar. Every good beer on tap was out and the bartender didn't seem to know what she was doing, and it took way longer to get a drink than it should have. Will definitely stay here again if we stay the night in Rapid! The price for our stay was extremely worth it! Amazing room and slept like a baby!

Property was nice, the people were good but where my sub par rating comes from is breakfast! HOW IN THE WORLD DOES CEREAL, FRUIT AND TOAST CONSTITUTE $7 FREAKING DOLLARS (tip not included yet)? I figured after I paid for a room with breakfast included, mind you it was and extra $30 for the room when booked, it would include a real breakfast, not what inmates are fed. I could have taken my family to McDonalds or Burger King and fed them for way less, oh I did after we left and that was only $9 for all 3 of us. The waitress was nice she told us to sit anywhere and then brought us water and a bill for $18.84 and wanted a tip as well, so $23.84 for 2 bowls of cereal, 3 waters and 4 grapes. I didn’t eat anything, only drank water but was charged for breakfast since I breached the dining area! This is pathetic and I will never stay here again, nor will I suggest this sort of rape and pillage to my worst enemy!

Have stayed here twice. Favorite hotel in Rapid City. Amazingly QUIET. Think the hotels w/water parks & free breakfast across the highway attract (louder) families w/kids & parties. This property is good for the business traveler. Everything new, sleek, modern. Spacious bathroom w/great lighting. BEST BEDS EVER!!! Nice sliding door shower. Has fridge & microwave.
