Stay USA Hotel & Suites

Arrived with a reservation at the front desk where I found an unkept front desk employee. I was told that they had no rooms available that are clean and that I'd have to get my refund from Expedia. As we walked out to out the front desk guy walked out with us and lit up a cigarette literally right next to our family van as we got in. I asked for the manager and he said "we dont have one". Worst experience with a hotel in my 40 years.

Property is dated. Suppose to have a restaurant and lounge area? Did not open until later than most guests stayed in the mornings (mostly construction type workers) and open at strange times and days. Motel breakfast consisted of 4 bagels and 4 pieces of bread, kiddy yogurt, egg pucks, frozen briskets and old sausage gravy. One of the worst I have ever experienced. The room had an oder of cowboy, horse and manure. Heat/Cool unit vents and fins were so filthy and moldy, the black out curtains fell off the rod, no one at the front desk to tell. Waited 15 minutes and rang the bell 5 times with no response. Pool and Hot tub out of order. The town has no place to eat breakfasts and nightly meals are non existent except for a couple of bars.

They hired kids to clean rooms on visa and it shows. Poop on toilet still, wores showing on phone cord, no breakfast included as advertised (they changed to coupon for 1 at a restaurant), staff smoking outside, offered an extra breakfast coupon due to room disaster and it wasnt honored by restaurant (manager didnt come overvso went to get hotwl manager and then restaurant manager showed uo over there engaging beyond inappropriate/ awful/refusing to honor.

We book this specific hotel for our kids to be able to swim. The pool area was about 50 degrees. It was freezing and when asked to turn the heat up so the kids could enjoy swimming instead of freezing to death they said it was broken.

Great accommodations for family if 5. Staff was friendly, amenities nice.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and spent a lot of time in the pool. My 5 year old son loved it and he even chose to play in the hotel pool instead of going to Evan's Plunge which saved us some money. The pool area is a bit slick so be very careful my son kept falling down even when walking and trying to be careful. The microwave and mini fridge are also wonderful, especially for a family that tries not to eat take out even when on vacation. My fiance tried the hot tub and really enjoyed that as well, some of the jets could use repair but other than that it was nice. Breakfast selection was very nice, quite a bit of fruit and omelets, sausage and biscuits and gravy, donuts, cereal, it was all really good. There was a weight room as well and guest laundry on the second floor which is appreciated when you have small children. Overall I am glad we chose this hotel for our mini-vacation and we had a lot of fun!
