The staff was VERY friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. We enjoyed our stay and were grateful for the comfortable stay. Other guests were like a family and we had great talks and visits with others there. The location is good and we were able to have our little puppy stay with us. Overall, it was a really good stay!

The room we had was very small and outdated. Other family member had a larger room but still outdated. The bathroom was dirty with hair on the wall and the tub didn't drain. Bed was comfortable. Staff was half and half, some pleasant and some not. Parking wasn't an issue. We were sent a text message that our room was ready and when we got there (2-3 hours later) it wasn't ready. Pool was ok, not warm. Towels available but suggest brining your own as they are a little bigger than a hand towel. Our overall stay was just ok, but we wouldn't stay there again.

This place was a GEM when I needed a room for several days due to bad weather while camping in the area. Staff was super nice, and the room was spotless. I'm not kidding, I am picky as hell and would rather camp in my car than stay at an economic hotel because they are usually run down and dirty.
Loved it so much here that I stayed 3 nights in the area. I liked pulling right up to my door, I felt safe, and I had everything I could want in my room, even a small sofa.
Most "breakfasts included" are not all that, but this place has a wonderful spread; hot, fresh and plentiful - a different menu every day!
I highly recommend this place! :)

Our room was dirty. My toddler's feet and knees were filthy, literally black from crawling on the floor. Our air conditioner would quit working overnight so it would be warm and humid when we woke up. Would start working if you unplugged it & plugged it back in. We broke some glass in the room & asked for a vacuum. Vacuum was clogged and not sucking anything up. Probably why floors are filthy. Room was always damp. Billboard out front said newly remodeled. I think they only remodeled the lobby to fool you into thinking the rest looked as nice. Would not stay here again.

The hotels free breakfast was wonderful everyday. The pool was alot of fun and when the towels were out they were restocked almost immediately. The staff was extremely friendly. The view from The outdoor entrance of the room was thecity and the hills. The restaurants and bars close were alot of fun. This was close to everything from crazy horse to rushmore to cosmos to reptile gardens. We were close enough to enjoy everything but not so close we were constantly stuck in traffic or fighting through a crowd. Our family trip was amazing and the hotel was definitely part of that. 10/10

Nice spacious rooms, great for a family. Kind and helpful staff. Not quite as many extra ammenities as most hotels now. They didnt have a fitness or business center. However, great places around to walk/hike and they were open to the use of the lobby for work. The rooms could use some minor repairs, but overall a great stay. Would strongly reccommend for families looking for a place to stay.

This was hands down the best Best Western my family has ever stayed at. The rooms were clean. The hotel was quiet. The staff was exceptional.

This trip was a fathers day trip for my husband and father. Everything was great as we started our day sightseeing and had an easy heck-in between sights. After retirning to our room after the Mt.Rushmore late night lighting of the monument. We found ourselves locked out of our room with my 2 young children(4yr old& 2mo old) at 11pm. My husband quickly went over to the office. Yet, the clerk was busy with other guests. She was still trying to be prompt in our situation. First, master keys were not working until she brought a manual key to enter the room. It was 45min later we entered our room. We were understanding to the situation but of course frustrated. I thanked her and asked if she could leave word for her manager in the morning. When we checked out and also to let them know the door was still unable to unlock with keys. To mine and the morning clerk's surprise our room was comped for the nights stay. It was much appreciated, i was just maybe expecting a discount. The only other downside beside the door lock situation was the bath tub. Could have been visibly cleaner. Breakfast also had some great options.
